Well when it comes to the BOOK, it would either be Tim, Gennaro, or Muldoon, They are all brave and awesome, especially Genarro and Muldoon.

For the second book, Ian Malcolm, love that guy XD. Sarcastic and comedic.

When it comes to the movie, for the first one, I would have to go for ian Malclm, he was funny and also very accurately portrayed form the book into the movie.

For the second movie, I would again have to go with Ian Malcolm.

Overall, my favorite character would have to be Ian.

Ian Malcolm for me! I loved his character even in the book.

I prefer Dr. Alan Grant. In the book and movie. (Especially in the book when he killed the raptors with a toxic egg.)

I would say my favorite Jurassic Park character would have to be Ian Malcolm. I identify with him somewhat, as he is the man who warned everyone of impeding chaos but was ignored. He nearly pays the price for this instead of the people who ignored him in the first place. And then in the second movie, he finds the family he has worked for being threatened to be taken from him by the very island he has strived to warn everyone about.
