Tyrannotitan

The individual in this series is a five ton male. He is feared by all but the largest of dinosaurs, and some Tyrannosaurs think twice about challenging him.

Gastonia

This individual is a fifteen hundred pound male. Carnivores tend to leave him alone, but he knows what to do against one.

Begin!

The Tyrannotitan is hunting. He hasn't had a meal in days, but his luck is changing. He sensed something over the hill, and he went to check it out.

The Gastonia is eating from a bush. He was unaware of the Tyrannotitan's presence as he bit into the bush again. What he didn't know, was that the Tyrannotitan hadn't spotted him, and he slid his foot under the bush. The Gastonia bit the Tyrannotitan's toe, and the Tyrannotitan jumped back and growled.

The Gastonia looked at the Tyrannotitan, trying to process what just happened, and what the strange taste in his mouth was. The Tyrannotitan looked at his toe, and it was bleeding. They looked each other in the eye, and the Gastonia slammed his tail on the ground. The Tyrannotitan roared and lunged forward. The Gastonia quickly reacted, leaning to the side and thrusting his shoulder toward the Tyrannotitan.

Neither scored a hit, but both saw what the other would do. The Tyrannotitan circled the Gastonia, looking for weakness. He saw that his underbelly was soft, but it would take some effort to get at it. The Gastonia swung his tail as a warning, and the Tyrannotitan jumped back. The Gastonia didn't know what to think, but he didn't mind that the Tyrannotitan feared him.

The Tyrannotitan was trying to figure out how to get at the Gastonia's underbelly. He knew it would be difficult, and the Gastonia knew the Tyrannotitan would be rather easy to get rid of. The Tyrannotitan lunged for the Gastonia's back leg, but the Gastonia hit him in the head with his tail. The Tyrannotitan roared in pain as he stepped back. He lunged for the Gastonia's front leg, and the just as he was about to close his jaws, the Gastonia thrust his shoulder into his face.

The Tyrannotitan stepped back and disappeared into the brush, but he didn't go far. An hour later, he was back, and the Gastonia hadn't sensed him. The Tyrannotitan grabbed his back leg, picked him up and dropped him before he could figure out what was going on. The Gastonia looked up in time to see the Tyrannotitan lunge for his neck. After that, there was nothing. The Tyrannotitan ate his fill and went to sleep.
