Mapusaurus vs Yangchuanosaurus
The individual in these fights is a five ton male. He was leader of a pack at one point, but his ruthless nature turned his pack against him, and he was overthrown.
The member for this series is a five ton male. He's a lone wolf. He's never had a pack, or a mate.
Begin!
The Yangchuanosaurus is standing in a clearing. The clearing has always held meaning to him. In the centre were five skeletons, two adult, two juvenile, and a Tyrannosaurus. The smaller ones were from individuals not ten feet long, while the adult ones were around forty feet long. The Tyrannosaur was forty five feet long, and it had attacked the family, along with another Tyrannosaur. The parents died, but they went down fighting to the bitter end, and managed to take down one of their attackers. The remaining Tyrannosaur had left afterward in search of the third juvenile. He didn't find it, but now, the juvenile stood in the clearing, full grown, reliving that night.
The Mapusaurus is hunting. He's been living off scraps and small kills since he was kicked out of his pack. He knew he needed a decent meal soon, and he would need to bring down a large dinosaur, a carnivore if he needed to. He walked past the clearing, and he heard the Yangchuanosaurus grunt. He looked at him for a moment, and the Yangchuanosaurus was walking away, head hanging low. The Mapusaurus looked at the skeletons in the clearing, and didn't think anything of it as crept up behind the Yangchuanosaurus, taking advantage of the situation.
The Yangchuanosaurus sensed something was off, and he perked up. He started looking in all directions, but the Mapusaurus crouched and blended in with the surrounding foliage. The Yangchuanosaurus continued the way he was going, and the Mapusaurus watched him for a minute. There was something off about the Yangchuanosaurus's walk. He was taking smaller than average steps, not really paying attention to anything, and he was walking slow. The Mapusaurus was used to seeing carnivores walking tall, taking large steps, looking around as they walked, and moving at a quick pace.
The Mapusaurus figured there was something wrong with the Yangchuanosaurus and attacked. He lunged for the Yangchuanosaurus's neck and slammed his jaws shut full force. The Yangchuanosaurus had heard it coming and managed to avoid a killing blow. He was bitten on the shoulder, and it hurt, but he could fight through the pain. The Yangchuanosaurus looked at the Mapusaurus and roared. He was in no mood to fight, so he was going to try to end the fight quickly. The Mapusaurus roared back and then charged.
The Yangchuanosaurus met his charge and started pushing. They were in a stalemate, and the Yangchuanosaurus crouched and started pushing. The Mapusaurus started slashing the Yangchuanosaurus as he was being pushed, and the Yangchuanosaurus stopped when the Mapusaurus connected with his bad shoulder. The momentum kept the Mapusaurus going, and he fell after tripping on a tree root. Before he could stand up, the Yangchuanosaurus was on him, slashing and biting his sides, chest and neck. The Mapusaurus kicked him, sending him off the ground momentarily.
The Yangchuanosaurus landed a few feet away on his feet, and the Mapusaurus stood up. Both growled. The Mapusaurus was desperate for a meal, and the Yangchuanosaurus wanted the Mapusaurus dead. The Mapusaurus charged, and the Yangchuanosaurus countered. The Yanchuanosaurus crouched and then stood up, sending the Mapusaurus back. The Mapusaurus stumbled, and before he could regain his balance, the Yanchuanosaurus charged and bit his neck. He started pushing and knocked the Mapusaurus to the ground.
The impact broke several bones, and the Mapusaurus struggled as the Yangchuanosaurus bit harder. The Mapusaurus's struggling slowed down, and then stopped. The Yangchuanosaurus tore his throat out for extra measures, and then ate before walking away to find a suitable place to sleep.
Winner........ Yangchuanosaurus
It was an even fight, Yangchuanosaurus came out on top this time around.
Jack of all trades. Master of none
