The individual is a two ton female. She is experienced at hunting most game, as well as fighting predators in the four ton range.
Styracosaurus
The individual in these fights is a three ton male. He's leader of a herd that was recently reduced to four members by a flood, and then down to two by a pack of Albertosaurus.
Begin!
The Styracosaurus pair is eating in a small clearing. Ever since the rest of the herd was killed, they've stuck close together. The larger one was the leader, while the smaller one trailed behind him. They were unaware they were being watched.
The Yutyrannus is hunting. She hasn't had a meal in a few days, and she wants something before she's desparate. She had tried to get a Dryosaurus, as well as a Gallimimus, but both attempts ended in failure. She was about two hundred yards away from the Styracosaurus pair when she heard something. She crouched in a bush and watched as a large male Tyrannosaurus Rex walked past with a dead Styracosaurus in his jaws.
The Yutyrannus walked in the direction the Tyrannosaurus had come from, and when she got there, the Styracosaurus was facing where the Tyrannosaurus had left from. She jumped back, and then looked through a bush. He didn't react. She walked out and looked at him for a moment. No reaction. She pushed the side of his head. Nothing. She kicked his front leg. Nothing. She looked him dead in the eye and hissed. Nothing.
The Yutrannus went to bite his neck to kill him, and the Styracosaurus turned with blinding speed, just missing her with his nose horn. The Yutyrannus jumped back and watched the Styracosaurus. He was alive, and he was ready for a fight. She growled, and he roared back.
The Yutyrannus circled around the Styracosaurus, and the Styracosaurus didn't take his eyes off her. The Yutyrannus figured that his neck was vulnerable, seeing that he never left it unprotected in her direction. She was continuing circling him, but now she was trying to figure out how to beat him quickly. The Styracosaurus was watching the Yutyrannus, trying to figure out how to beat her. She was like a Tyrannosaurus; all the weapons at the front. She was small, fast, agile, hard to hit, but one hit would take her out.
The Yutyrannus suddenly lurched forward. The Styracosaurus saw it as a chance, and he charged. The Yutyrannus jumped to the side, her plan having worked. The Styracosaurus went past her and slowed down, and she lunged for his neck. She bit hard and started shaking. While the attack didn't kill him, it injured him significantly, and he managed to shake her off by hitting her with one of the horns on his frill. It did nothing more than leave a small scratch, but it hurt.
The Yutyrannus felt blood drip down her face, and watched blood drip out of her opponent's neck. The Styracosaurus roared and stomped on the ground. He was angry and getting ready to charge. The Yutyrannus was being cautious. She knew the stakes. One wrong move, and not only is she screwed, but so is her family. The one nagging thought at the back of her mind was that the Tyrannosaurus was heading in the direction of her nest when she saw it.
She was still thinking when the attack came. She saw it coming last second, and managed to avoid the worst of the hit. Part of his frill hit her leg as she jumped, and she landed on her side and rolled a few feet. She was winded, and her arm hurt. She took a few quick breaths and stood up. The Styracosaurus had turned around and was charging at her again. She didn't have time to sidestep, so she ran at him instead.
The retaliation confused the Styracosaurus, and he slowed down. The Yutyrannus charged, but he turned his head. She bit one of his horns, and the force broke it off. The Styracosaurus roared in pain and shook his head. The Yutyrannus went for his neck but couldn't reach it. She backed off and waited for the Styracosaurus to attack again. When he didn't, she went for his nose horn while he was still disoriented. She bit it off and backed off.
Now, she was waiting to deliver the final blow. The Styracosaurus regained his focus, and he wanted to kill the Yutyrannus. The Yutyrannus curled and uncurled her toes for a moment, preparing for her final assault. The Styracosaurus was staring at her, and she cracked her neck. She wanted him to charge, and she started hopping from foot to foot. After several minutes, the Styracosaurus couldn't take it anymore. He charged, and the Yutyrannus charged too. From opposite ends of the clearing, they reached the distance the Yutyrannus wanted to be in less than four seconds.
The Yutyrannus jumped and bent her legs, preparing to use the Styracosaurus's face as a launch pad. The Styracosaurus didn't see it coming until it was too late. The Yutyrannus smashed her feet into his skull and sailed twenty feet away, while the Styracosaurus went face first into the ground and rolled. He didn't survive to feel the roll, but his lifeless body tumbled from the momentum he had. The Yutyrannus landed on her feet and turned around. She looked at her prize, and started dragging it to her nest.
More agile, strong for her size, intelligent, and a family to feed gave Yutyrannus a fighting chance.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJun-29-2014 6:43 PMI found the fights involving Yutyrannus to be really fun to write. That could mean 2, 3, or 4 fights involving her, but I'm not saying. They were all fun to write though, which always helps to make a better fight.
