The Deadly Reality-Daylight

 This is the first part of the story The deadly reality or the second if you count the prologue hope you like it!!!

 Dr. Jackie Estacado woke up alone, stranded on a beach with no memory of anything that happened in the past 12 hours. He slowly tries to lift his head from the sand, his entire body was in extreme pain, with all his strength he looked in front of him, his face covered with sand. 5 hours later and he noticed something peculiar, 2 large bird-like footprints 3 feet beside him. He now had enough strength and energy to stand up, he had a sprained ankle and stumbled at first but eventually was able to stand up and walk. He walked for another mile before he noticed a crashed chopper just out in the shoreline, he quickly jogged towards it. He went inside and saw the bodies of the pilots inside, but he also saw a first aid kit, a Chopper Blade, and a desert eagle.50 with 12 rounds of ammo. He immediately took them and continued walking. Suddenly he heard a bloodcurdling roar coming from the forest beside him, he knew it wasn’t a lion or a tiger it was something much larger and much more sinister. He took cover behind a broken log, until he noticed that the ground is shaking. Terrified, Dr. Jackie pointed his gun towards the forest, then the shaking stopped suddenly, it was utter silence for 30 seconds… until a large 44 foot carnivore sprinted towards the log he was hiding behind. Jackie fired 3 shots in panic and started dashing the way he was walking. The animal was clearly catching up to the panicking Jackie, who turned towards the forest and being a good climber climbed the highest tree he could find. The animal dashed towards Jackie who was now 12 feet up the tree, as high as the animal’s jaw line. He opened his jaws 120 degrees readying to close any second. The animal reached the tree and closed his jaw as he did, only to get a mouthful of wood, Jackie is now on the lowest tree branch 28 feet high on the tree. Finally he got a chance to look at the beastly animal which was clearly a dinosaur, it looked like a T. rex but had longer jaws, more slender and longer legs and thinner teeth, the individual itself however had an absolutely vile appearance, it had a mostly black body with brown highlights and a few feathers on its arms, spine, and head, it was also littered with scars all over its body, the ugliest one stretched from the lower jaw until right above the eye. The sun was setting meaning that if he didn’t find shelter by then he would be turned into human happy meal. He climbed down the tree and found a small cave right behind a 27 foot high waterfall. It was deep but not very high   (8 feet high), perfect for shelter.

 The next day he woke up to find 8 small feathered dinosaurs sleeping around him, strangely they were extremely cute and fuzzy with mostly white feathers with black highlights and large eyes. They were probably herbivores, because if they were carnivores they would have eaten him while he was sleeping. He looked them up on his phone and discovered their name was actually called leaellynasaura and that they were very shy. He went outside to have a drink and gather some food, when he came back he found that the leaellynasaura-s have woken up, at first they cuddled up together and went to the back of the cave, they then identified him as that creature they found in the cave and started taking a liking to him.
