Allosaurus
The individual for this fight is a four ton male. He's been a lone wolf most of his life, but settled down near the area he grew up when he found a mate.
Stegosaurus
The individual in this fight is a four and a half ton male. He's experienced, and he has a deep hatred for Allosaurus.
Begin!
The Allosaurus is hunting. He's hunted almost everything on his own before he found his mate. She was at their nest, looking after their chicks. He was drooling with anticipation as he watched a juvenile Stegosaurus that was separated from the herd. He opened and closed his hands, ready to lash out at a moment's notice. The juvenile was about twenty feet from his hiding spot and coming closer. The Allosaurus was about to charge, when a high pitched scream, which was cut off abruptly, was heard, followed by dead silence. The Allosaurus's eyes opened wide as he turned and ran to the nest.
The Stegosaurus had stumbled upon the nest by chance. He stayed near the herd, but he didn't walk among them. He liked being on his own. It was always an opportunity for him to kill a predator if he was attacked. He had walked into the clearing the nest was in, and the female Allosaurus was standing over the chicks, watching them play fight. One of the chicks saw the Stegosaurus and hissed, and the female quickly pushed them to some tree roots where they would be safe. She turned just in time to see the Stegosaurus's tail swinging at her, and she let out a high pitched scream before she was hit in the throat. She was lucky though, and her neck was in between the spikes, but she was knocked unconscious.
The Allosaurus ran into the clearing and saw his mate on the ground. There was no blood, but she wasn't moving. He looked at where he knew she would have hidden the chicks, and the Stegosaurus was about smash his tail into the hole. The Allosaurus threw caution to the wind and charged. He caught the Stegosaurus by the tail and pulled. The Stegosaurus roared as he was pulled away, and he turned to see the Allosaurus. He pulled his tail free and swung. The Allosaurus sidestepped and looked the Stegosaurus in the eye.
The Allosaurus had a quick flashback. His own mother was killed in a similar fashion, and his father had saved him the way he just saved his own chicks. The Allosaurus focused on the problem at hand, and he circled the Stegosaurus, keeping an eye on his tail. He was slowly getting closer, and the Stegosaurus lashed out. The Allosaurus ducked and then jumped. He landed on his opponent's side and started slashing and biting. He was shaken off, but not without leaving a mark. The Stegosaurus roared in pain as one of his plates was ripped from his back.
The Allosaurus tossed the plate at the Stegosaurus and roared. The Stegosaurus roared back and stomped his feet. The Allosaurus went for his neck, and the Stegosaurus turned and hit him with his tail. His one spike just nicked the Allosaur's tail, and he kept going. He bit his shoulder instead and started pulling. With one last pull, he took a large chunk of flesh with him. The Stegosaurus roared as the Allosaurus swallowed it in front of him.
The Allosaurus charged again, expecting the Stegosaurus to be in too much pain to fight back now. He was wrong, and next thing he knew, he was on the ground. The Stegosaurus hit him full force at the base of his tail and the spikes went clean through.
The Allosaurus looked at the hole. One of his chicks looked him in the eye, and then he saw nothing but black, and then he was suddenly in the hole, with the chicks. He looked around and realized he was having a flashback. He looked outside the hole, and his father was on the ground, looking him in the eye, the Stegosaur's tail poised to deliver the killing blow. He never for got the look of fear in his father's eyes as the Stegosaurus slammed his tail through his skull. What happened after that was a blur, but he was the only survivor.
The Allosaurus suddenly woke up, shaking uncontrollably. He rolled to the side as the Stegosaurus brought his tail down and hit the ground half an inch from where he was. The Allosaurus ignored the pain and stood up. With his tail stuck in the ground, the Stegosaurus was less dangerous. The Allosaurus went for his neck and started biting. The Stegosaurus fought it to the bitter end, but in the end, the Allosaurus killed him.
Instead of roaring in victory for his father's vengeance, he turned to his mate. He walked to her and nudged her head. Her breath came short and quick. He didn't know what to do, but she slowly got better, and after an hour, stood up. She nudged her mate, and then they started eating with their chicks.
Winner........ Allosaurus
Having a family to keep alive and avenging his father gave Allosaurus a better shot at winning than usual.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJun-11-2014 3:38 AMThanks guys, and catzilla, how often is the herbivore the bad guy? Next to never. Why not shake things up a bit? Think of it this way: The Stegosaurus is strong and experienced, so by trailing behind the herd, he is an obvious target and while simaltaniously killing threats, he lures them away from the herd. It's all perspedtive.

MemberCompsognathusJun-11-2014 5:27 AMGreat fight. I was rooting for Allosaurus, but expected the Stegosaurus to win.
Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-
