The " Lizard Eating Master"
Length: 11 meters
Height: 3 meters
Weight: 4.5 tons
Era: Jurassic
Saurophaganax was a side project that Ingen had been working on around the time of the '93 incident. It, and Epanterias were long thought to be the same species, but when the genetic sequence was defined, it revealed they are two entirely different allosaurids. They are relatively destructive animals, going out of their way to knock down trees and fences. Because of this, only two were originally bred for the park. They were a mated pair, that escaped captivity when the events of '93 took place. They are believed to be roaming the jungles, where the food is plentiful.
Torvosaurus
The "Savage Lizard"
Length: 11 meters
Weight: 5 tons
Height: 3.5 meters
Era: mid jurassic
Torvosaurus is at the top of its food chain. It's a hyper carnivore, taking mid sized sauropods, to the kills of Allosaurus and Ceratosaurus. It doesn't steal the kills of other large bodied carnivores for some reason. Torvosaurus is the largest megalosaur, and it has a bite to match. It kills with the ferocity of other megalosaurs, and the three ton bite force makes it even more deadly. Torvosaurus has a brown head with a dull orange body covered in brown crossbars.
Ceratosaurus
The " Horned Lizard"
Length: 8.5 meters
Weight: 1.5 tons
Height: 2.25 meters
Era: Mid Jurassic
Ceratosaurs are like the modern honey badger. Quite ferocious, and will attack anything, even if it much larger. They live primarily on isla nublar, where they hunt stegosaurs and small hadrosaurs. They must constantl'sy fight to keep their kills. Torvosaurus and Giganotosaurus are its main rivals, and ceratosaurs have learned how to fight these much larger opponents. Their population isn't very large, and because of this they must pick and choose their battles. Ceratosaurs are green with red vertical stripes down the body, their horns - which give them their name- are brown in color.
Allosaurus
The "Strange Lizard"
Length: 8 meters
Weight: 3 tons
Height: 2.6 meters
Era: Jurassic
Here we go..
The corpse of the miragaia hit the dried riverbank with a sickening thud. The Torvosaurus had just made the kill, and with perfect timing. Rain had not fallen in portugal for months; most of the herbivores had headed north following the swollen dark clouds that lingered overhead. The smaller carnivores followed the plant eaters, for they couldn't substain themselves for long without large amounts of flesh. The larger ones all congregated around this dried water hole at one time or another, the air was fraught with tension. Killing for the sake of killing was not uncommon around these parts.
The Male Torvosaurus was met By its smaller pack member, a female at that. They had once been a pack of four strong, but two were struck down by a flailing lusotitan the pack had boldly taken on. Now these two immense predators were all that remained.
A Trio of Ceratosaurus was stalking the dried plain looking for easy prey. The leader of the pack was immense, and sported a blood red nasal horn. It was nearly the size of the smaller Torvosaurus. He had locked eyes with the male Torvosaurus, and now the three predators stalked confidently over to the Carcass. The male Torvosaur put his immense taloned foot onto the carcass, and let out a guttural growl. It was the first and only warning for the Ceratosaurs.
They had not headed it, there would be blood.
The Three Ceratosaurs fanned out, surrounding the Megalosaurs.
The Attack came from the left, there was no sound.
One Ceratosaurus jumped onto the female Torvosaurus' side, and another bit down on her right arm.
The Alpha Ceratosaurus charged the bull Torvosaurus, slamming his immense bulk directly into the chest.
The Megalosaur took a few wheeling steps back, but took advantage of his position. He swiped at the Ceratosaurus, catching it by the torso and sending it flying to the ground. It quickly got to its feet, and started to lead the Torvosaurus out onto the plain. The series of bluff charges and claw brandishing was all to get the bull away from the two other Ceratosaurs, who were still attempting to kill the female.
The Torvosaurus took bounding steps towards the horned lizard, letting out a roar equivalent of a jumbo jet taking off. The Ceratosaurus planted his feet, and issued a challenging roar. He watched as the megalosaur began to circle him, gnashing his long pearly white teeth.
The Ceratosaurus rushed him, but the Torvosaur was ready. He Side stepped as the horned lizard ran by, grabbing him by the neck. He lifted the theropod clean off the ground, and with a decisive bite, crushed his neck. He threw the lifeless form to the ground, and then turned two face the remaining threats.
That two had just turned into four as two Allosaurus were now coming from a nearby stand of trees.
The Ceratosaurs had managed to fend off the female megalosaur, who was now bleeding heavily and walking with a gruesome looking limp.
The Allosaurs were focused on her, and were now sprinting directly at her. She held their gaze, but was back pedaling and roaring up a storm. The Bull went on the move, rushing over to his pack mate. He got there before the Allosaurus pair did, and stood between them and the female. He roared at the Carnosaurs, turning his body sideways and swinging his stiff tail. The lead allosaur growled, and stamped his feet in the dusty earth. The other, seemingly preoccupied, went to face off with the Ceratosaurs.
The Torvosaurus now faced his new opponent, and with a sudden lunge, clamped down on its snout. The allosaurus jerked away, swinging his head in a downward arc. He bit down on the Torvosaurus' right leg, tearing a way a large wad of flesh. Blood spattered on the dusty earth.
The Megalosaur buckled in pain, but that pain was replaced with adrenaline soon after. He swung his arm, digging his huge talons into the Allosaurus' head. It slumped to the ground, flailing its legs. He felt nothing as he Crushed the Allosaurs head under foot.
He wheeled around, to see that the Ceratosaur pair had killed the second Allosaurus. The larger of the two was dragging the corpse towards the trees, but the second was worse for wear. Its right harm hung only by sinews, and the left side of its face was almost torn completely off. It straggled behind, but was acting peculiar. It snapped its head back and forth, issuing a high pitched shrieking call. The Torvosaur knew what was around as soon as he trees started to move. The Ceratosaurus had its back turned, so it could never see the attack coming. The Saurophaganax rushed from the trees like a bat out of hell, bringing its hatchet jaw down onto the Ceratosaurs back. The Theropod slumped lifelessly to the ground.
The Allosaurid growled down at the corpse, but then caught sight of the two Torvosaurus.
Another Allosaurus individual had claimed the stegosaur carcass by now, and the male went to dispatch it.
The Saurophaganax took advantage of the situation, rushing the injured female. He covered the distance with five thunderous steps, bowling the megalosaur over. She was dead before she hit the ground.
Having scared off the Allosaurus easier then planned, The Torvosaurus turned to face the Titanic Allosaurid before him. He walked towards it, flashing his teeth and growling like an oncoming thunderstorm.
The Saurophaganax Roared at the megalosaur, but was taking frightened steps back. When the Torvosaurus got closer, it turned and ran for the trees. It stopped to pick up the Ceratosaurus it had killed, and returned to the dark depths of the forest. The Torvosaurus looked around, the devastation that had just occured turned the dry plain into a battlezone, and with a mournful roar, started the trek north.
The death toll: Two allosaurus, two Ceratosaurus, One Torvosaurus, One mirigaia.
Decide the winner for yourselves

MemberTyrannosaurus RexMay-29-2014 6:43 AMGood fight. Going to say the last man standing in the battleground; Torvosaurus. I was hoping the female would live though. Oh well.
Jack of all trades. Master of none

MemberCompsognathusMay-30-2014 4:31 AMTorvosaurus definitely won. Great fight.
Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-
