Isla Nublar
The helicopter is flying to Isla Nublar. Hammond and Muldoon are inside, talking. "So you're telling me you will pay me triple what I was being paid back in Kenya to work at a park filled with dinosaurs?" "Yes, yes I am." "I'm going to have to look around the island and before I officially make a decision." "Sure thing Robert."
The helicopter landed, and a Jeep was waiting for them. There was no one inside the Jeep, so Muldoon assumed it was for one of them to drive. "Go ahead Robert. You want to look around the island, you can drive." "Alright. This is a nice Jeep."
Muldoon started the Jeep and started driving. He followed the tour route, looking at all the paddocks. "So John, I know this is a dinosaur park, so where are the dinosaurs?" "We haven't worked out everything yet. The paddocks aren't finished anyway." "Alright. The island looks good so far" "I spared no expense." "I can tell. This place is beautiful."
When Hammond and Muldoon finished looking around the tour road, they stopped at the visitor centre. They walked in, and the first thing Muldoon saw was the Tyrannosaurus skeleton. "That's pretty cool." "Thanks. I'm trying to make this island as visually appealing as possible." "I can tell, and it is." "So, what are we doing here first?" "I thought we could have lunch first." "Sounds like a plan."
After lunch, Hammond and Muldoon walked around looking at the different parts of the visitor centre. They looked at the main control room, and then watched a video explaining the cloning process. "Kind of cheesy, don't you think?" "Jurassic Park's target audience is children, so it needed to be easy to understand." "I see. When are we going to see one of these cloned dinosaurs?" "Might be a while. We haven't worked out all the issues."
Hammond and Muldoon walked past the lab where the research was being done, and one of the scientists ran out and told Hammond something. Before he went inside, Hammond told Muldoon to look around the building, but not to go in any of the rooms. Muldoon looked around, but was really interested in why one of the scientists needed Hammond.
When Hammond got out, Muldoon asked him what was wrong. "Nothing's wrong. Exactly the opposite." "What happened?" "Our first successful cloning attempt just hatched." "What species?" Tyrannosaurus Rex." "You cloned a Tyrannosaur?"

MemberCompsognathusMay-15-2014 4:36 AMOkay then, great chapter and since I haven't commented for a while and because I'm lazy... to everybody who posted anything while I was gone, great job. (yes, I did read everything, but as I've said before, I'm lazy and so I didn't feel like commenting on each and every one). I hope that this isn't going to happen again.
Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

MemberCompsognathusMay-15-2014 11:57 AMIt makes sence that the t. rex was the first cloned since it would take longer for it to grow then the other animals. good job.

Carnosaur, that's actually a coincidence. You'll see what I mean in future chapters.
