Hey everyone, I was just going to share this interesting article that I found on LiveScience.com. It discusses how researchers determined how Prehistoric Crocodiles killed their prey. It comares three extinct species of Crocodile with the current largest species of Crocodile and how they kill their prey.

I figured that's how they killed.

interesting indeed, this is probably where the crocodilian lineage homed that technique.

Gharials do not - to my knowledge - do the death roll, as sarcosuchus probably did not either. Their builds are very similar actually..

Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

JUDGE BAGGINS - That is a very neat piece of information. Thank you very much for bringing this to us! I'll definately look into more information concerning ancient crocodillians as a result of this. Most compelling! :)

It is good to see more information on prehistoric crocodillians since they are as amazing as the dinosaurs they shared the world with. Great find.
