MemberTyrannosaurus RexApr-30-2014 5:31 PMI haven't done a list in a while, or at all, I'm not sure. I'm doing the five dinosaurs that I believe to have been the deadliest in their time and place, that way, smaller dinosaurs can qualify. The Big Four will not be included to prevent people from getting mad at me for putting said member at the top and not a different one. For those who know my opinions, you know exactly what I mean.
Mapusaurus was basically a dialled down Giganotosaurus. It was about five tons in weight, hunted in packs, and had the typical Allosaur build. It was lightweight, which would be a good thing considering its largest prey item, Argentinosaurus because it doesn't matter if you're 5 tons or 50 tons, if over 100 tons of angry Sauropod comes crashing down on you, you're screwed. It had teeth meant for slashing, which would allow it to make deep wounds and let its prey bleed out.
4. Daspletosaurus
Daspletosaurus was pretty much a small Tyrannosaurus Rex. It was five tons in weight and had the standard Tyrannosaur build, strong jaws, small arms, heavily muscled all around. It would have been fast in short bursts, and it needed to be strong to take on Ceratopsians such as Pachyrinosaurus.
3. Tarbosaurus
Tarbosaurus was Asia's equivalent to Tyrannosaurus Rex. At seven tons in weight, Tarbosaurus was the largest carnivore to stalk late Cretaceous Asia. It had the standard Tyrannosaur build. It's teeth were similar to those of Tyrannosaurus, but not as strong, making them better slashing teeth due to their sharpness.
2. Utahraptor
Utahraptor was the Jurassic Park Velociraptors on steroids. At almost a ton in weight, it was the largest Dromeasaur discovered so far. It had a twelve inch long sickle claw, claws on its hands, and being a Dromeasaur, likely hunted in packs.
1. Allosaurus
Allosaurus was a four ton dinosaur that was extremely successful. At four tons in weight, it was second to Torvosaurus in Late Jurassic predator weight, but made up for it by hunting in packs. Allosaurus was the most numerous predator of the Jurassic. With strong arms, big claws, and a decent bite, it could use all three methods of ripping its prey apart to take out its victims.

Agreeable, indeed.

MemberCompsognathusMay-01-2014 8:26 AMAllosaurus deserves this spot. I was forced to become any dinosaur, I would choose it. There was two ways of thinking when it came to food. "If you're bigger than me, I will need a stradegy but, if you're smaller, I don't care who you are, I'm gonna rip your friggin' head off."
"By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power. But they lie! They do not fulfill that promise. They never will! Dictators free themselves but they enslave the people."

MemberTyrannosaurus RexMay-01-2014 9:00 AMJust remember, I didn't include the big 4 (Rex, Spino, Giga and Carchar) to avoid pissing people off. Thanks though, I had a few doubts when I started this, but hey, that's the good thing about opinions, people don't have to agree.

MemberCompsognathusMay-01-2014 1:16 PMI agree that allosaurus should be at the top( ignoring the big four) because of its teamwork and being successful
When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Tell life I don't want you're damn lemons, and then squeeze them into life's eyes!

Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

MemberCompsognathusMay-08-2014 12:42 PMNice list, though I think acrocanthosaurus deserved a spot in there, and maybe deltadromeaus. Acro or Delta could've taken mapu's place.
Youre fat, and I'm not sugarcoating it cause you'd probably eat that too.
