Siats
Length: 11 meters
Weight: 4 tons
Height: 3.6 meters
Era: Late Jurassic/ Early Cretaceous
Like other large bodied predators this animal can run fast for short distances. They are often seen tailing the giant sauropod herds that travel to both ends of Nublar, picking off the injured, sick, and old at their own time. Siats, unlike other Carcharodontosaurs, has some plumage on the neck. In the males, it is a bright blue; the females sport a dark brown coloration to their feathers. The entirety of the Siats population is a uniform steel gray color.
Sauroniops
Length: 11.5 meters
Weight: 5 tons
Height: 4 meters
Era: Mid Cretaceous
Sauroniops is is extremely aggressive and territorial, and it attacks any other predator that invades its domain. A very reliable witness claims that the Carcharodontosaur is actually attracted by the territorial marks of other predators, such as T-Rex, and quickly appears to get rid of the intruder.
Sauroniops is an active hunter that roams near rivers; walking the coasts, looking for fish and dead animals washed ashore. It is a quite noisy animal when it is not stalking prey; it produces a great variety of roars and bellows, although these are usually high pitched It is active both during day and night. Unfortunately, details about its reproduction are unknown. As a matter of fact, no one knows how many Sauroniops there are in Isla Sorna (there doesn´t seem to be any in Nublar). Almost all sightings of this elusive animal were reported in 2001. Sauroniops is a dull orange color, with small black stripes on the face.
And...Begin..
Breathing had become a chore for the Brachiosaurus. His left rear leg was bent in a horrific fashion, and all he could do was drag it along. The ugly red gash along his flank was bleeding feverously. It showed no signs of stopping. He felt his life slipping from him, and all he could do was plod on. The angry clouded sky bellowed ominously down on all inhabitants; a storm was coming.
A bitterly cold wind began making its way through the valley. The knee high grass tickled the ailing sauropod. His blood dripped onto the lush green foliage, turning it an ugly brown.
The Sensation of being followed was now at its peak. The Brachiosaurs instinct had been right, the high pitched growl from some where behind him solidified that.
Then, a tremendous weight bared down on the old Sauropods back. His left rear foot gave out, he collapsed to the ground - the echoes of thunder canceling out his enormous bulk crashing to the hard ground.
Then, the pressure was gone. Only now, a large silhouette, outlined by the crashing of thunder, towered above him.
It lunged forward, a hot tearing sensation rippled throughout the Brachiosaurs body.
In the next moment, there was nothing. The life of the Brachiosaur had been stripped away by the Siats. The Carcharodontosaur walked over to the stomach, and tore it open. Truly a feast for a king.
Several hours pass, and the Siats has had his fill. He lay next to the carcass, and let's the cool sensation of the rain was over him. The pterosaurs flew over head, shrieking in anticipation of a feast. He kept one eye on them.
The stench of the carcass had entranced predators for miles around. None were as large as the Siats, and they all stood a good distance away.
Then, the Abelisaurs surrounding the body scattered, running for the tree line. Immediately, the Siats perked up. Sure enough, a Bull sauroniops had entered the valley. It too had entered the ring for the feast.
The Siats stood up, and hissed at the Sauroniops. It responded with a roar of its own, and the two animals stood in an icy silence, the thunder booming overhead. The Sauroniops swatted at the air, like a mad bull. The Siats snorts deeply, walking over the Brachiosaur sneck and towards the adversary.
The Siats bull rushes the Sauroniops, headbutting him straight in the chest. The Sauroniops reaches down, scratching as hard as he can. He catches the Siats' right eye, and pulls his taloned finger away, the eye coming with him. The Siats shrieks in agony, but resumes his attack. Heabutting the Sauroniops in the thigh. He hisses at the intruder, blood streaming down his face.
He can't get a good location on the large predator.
Searing pain travels from his neck through his entire body. The Sauroniops had launched it's frontal assault. It grabbed the Siats by the neck, and tossed it to the side. The Siats crashed hard to the ground, his arm fracturing under the enormous strain. Before he could get up, the Sauroniops was upon him. He stomped the downed Carcharodontosaur on the neck, and lowered his head to the ground. He growled in the Siats' face, and backed away. His eyes never left the Siats as it struggled to get up.
With a defeated roar, the Siats walked towards the tree line. He limped painfully, his eye cavity still bleeding heavily. The abelisaur pack was on his heels as he trodded away, a gleeful shrieking coming from their midst.
The Sauroniops turned his attention to the Brachiosaur carcass, and began to gourge himself. It was indeed a feast for a king.
Winner...Sauroniops!
The far more aggressive animal won this one.

MemberCompsognathusApr-28-2014 4:03 PMGood fight, although I was rooting for Siats.
PS- Are you gonna do Concavenator vs Eocarcharia? Just a guess since they are similarly sized carcharodontosaurs.

Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-
