Carcharodontosaurus
Length: 13 meters
Weight: 6 tons
Height: 4 meters
Era: Early Cretacious
One of the few Species to go out of its way to grapple with the Spinosaurs. These animals roam in packs of three, and are rarely spotted on their own. They are ruthlessly efficient predators. Carcharodontosaurus takes on the large Sauropod species of Isla Nublar, often using these animals as a living buffet. Taking large bites out of the hapless animal, then stalking it for days further, repeating the process. The animal usually succumbs of its injuries. Carcharodontosaurus has an earth tone brown coloration, with a light orange nasal crest.
Zhuchengtyrannus
Length: 11 meters
Weight: 5 tons
Height: 3.5 meters
Era: Early Cretacious
Zhuchengtyrannus is an unusual tyrannosaur. They completely ignore ceratopsians and hadrosaurs, and instead tackle the Sauropods of both islands. This puts them in direct competition with the Carcharodontosaurids. The two Theropod Genus' have been seen often sparring over the carcass of a slain animal, and the conflicts are bloody. Zhuchengtyrannus has a dried blood red coloration of feathers on the back, and alpha males sport a large blue dewlap. The body is a leafy green color.
And..Begin..
Jack had no idea how long he had been walking. his small Cessna 172 had run out of fuel unexpectedly, and he was forced to crash land on the tiny island. He figured the trees would provide santuary from the unrelenting sun.
Minutes quickly turned to hours.
The humidity was extreme in the jungle interior. Sweat flowed from Jack's body as he trekked the cavernous expanse of trees and ferns. Animals bellowed mournfully, insects droned unrelentlessly. The noise was extreme.
I've got to get out of this hell hole Jack thought bitterly. He took the machete from his back pack, and hacked away at some large green vines. Beyond the thick cords, sun peeked through offering a glimmer of hope to Jack. The loud snap of the vines disguised the low, echoing roar of some animal.
Jack hacked his way through the lowest hanging vine, and emerged into a small clearing. In front of him lay an even larger, forboding grove of trees. The carcass of some large, long necked animal lay at the feet of the trees. Strange beaked animals sat high in the canopy, looking at the new comer intently.
Keeping his eyes on them, he walked forward. The stench from the animal was becoming unbearable. Jack felt the sickness churning in his stomach.
As he neared the carcass, A large, feathered animal with fearsome looking teeth stood up abruptly. It's muzzle was stained with blood, sinews of flesh hung from its immpresive maw.
It stared for a good thirty seconds, then let out an unearthly shriek. The monster started walking towards him.
Cold sweat broke out across Jack's forehead, and he turned to run. He got about twenty feet before running into something large, and scaly.
Shaking with fright, he gazed up. It was another large animal with fearsome looking teeth, but it was clearly a different predator. It showed no interest in him. It was gazing at the feathered animal, and it too gave a unearthly roar.
Jack ran and sat behind a large fallen oak tree, watching the two colossal animals interact was about the only thing he could do.
The feathered animal made the first move, biting the brown monster on the snout. It quickly shook the move off, lashing out with its impressively large arms. Jack heard the sound of tearing flesh, the accompanying squeal of agony. Blood dripped down the Feathered animals neck, as it backed towards its kill, it's head bowed in a submissive gesture.
The brown behemoth was still advancing on it.
The Predator with the larger arms lunged as the Feathered one turned, and bit down on its neck. It muscled the other creature to the ground, and with apparent ease, snapped its neck. The shriek of the feathered animal was immidiately replaced with a guttural growl.
Jack took his oppurtunity. He sprinted for the other side of the clearing, the roar of the super predator echoing in his ears as he ran. It was a sound he would not soon forget.
Winner...Carcharodontosaurus!
The far more aggressive animal won this fight.

MemberCompsognathusApr-24-2014 10:27 PMVery cool new format! I just might have to use that someday. Do you mind? But good fight. Outcome was expected. For once I wasn't really rooting for either. Great fight as always!

MemberTyrannosaurus RexApr-25-2014 4:32 AMGood fight, though I was rooting for Zhucheng. If you ask me, the fight itself was pretty short. There's a half ton weight difference, and the slightly heavier one kicked the Zhucheng's ass. Good job anyway, interesting format.

MemberCompsognathusApr-25-2014 8:21 AMthanks guys. If there's anything i would have changed, i would have made the fight a bit longer. Ole' Zhucheng got his ass kicked though, that;s for sure. But hey, that just shows you the larger one doesn't always win
