DD9097LS Bonus Fight
Suchomimus
The individual is a four ton male. He has a degree of experience fighting predators, but he prefers to stay in his river.
Tarbosaurus
The Tarbosaurus is a five ton male. He just reached adulthood, and he was spoiled while he was young, something that may screw him over as an adult.
Begin!
The Suchomimus is in his river. He was resting since he already ate his fill from fish he's caught. He was watching some herbivores walk by. They all knew he wasn't a threat to them since they were significantly larger than him, and he was usually seen eating fish.
The Tarbosaurus is following the herd. He noticed a sick individual earlier that day, and he had been following them since. He was about to make a move on them when he noticed the Suchomimus. He started watching the Suchomimus to see what he would do.
The Suchomimus was watching the herd. He didn't mind them, they occasionally had a predator following them, and he could challenge the predator. Usually the predator was small, an Allosaurus or something similar in size to him. One of the lead Edmontosaurus sensed something, and he started to leave with the herd. The Suchomimus didn't know why they left, but he started looking around.
The Tarbosaurus waited for several minutes before losing patience and running out. The Suchomimus stayed in his river, and the Tarbosaurus ran in toward him. The water was deeper than he expected, and was soon slowed down to a slow walk. The Suchomimus dove underwater, and the Tarbosaurus quickly struggled to get back to land. He did as the Suchomumis burst from the water like a torpedo, and they both stood still, growling.
The Tarbosaurus roared, and the Suchomimus hissed back. The Tarbosaurus wasn't sure what to do, but the Suchomimus mock charged. The Tarbosaurus took the bait and lunged. He missed, and was quickly slashed across his face. He growled in pain and attacked. He bit the Suchomimus's arm and pulled it off, but the Suchomimus reacted and slashed the Tarbosaurus's face again.
The Tarbosaurus jumped back and looked at the Suchomimus. The Suchomimus looked back at the Tarbosaurus and reared up to his full height. The Tarbosaurus didn't know what he should do, so he attacked. He pushed the Suchomimus and he stumbled back into the river. The Tarbosaurus didn't follow him, and the Suchomimus stayed in the river.
After several minutes, the Tarbosaurus walked into the river. He stopped when he got knee deep, and the Suchomimus lunged. He bit the Tarbosaurus's neck, and the Tarbosaurus tried to free himself as he was dragged into the river. The Suchomimus tried to drag the Tarbosaurus deeper, but the current and Tarbosaurus's struggling made it difficult. He let go, and the Tarbosaurus was carried about a hundred yards down the river.
When he got out of the current, he looked around. The Suchomimus was no where to be seen. He left the area immediately, not wanting to get attacked again. The Suchomimus was happy with having gotten rid of the Tarbosaurus, and he went back to resting.
Winner....... Suchomimus
More experienced, the Suchomimus's home turf advantage won it for him.
Originally, I was going to have Tarbosaurus win, but one thing lead to another and Sucho came out on top. The infinite possibilities of how a fight could go down makes everything exciting, eh?

MemberCompsognathusApr-24-2014 5:24 AMGood fight, I was rooting for Tarbosaurus, but I know what you mean when you say that everything can change even whilst writing the fight.
Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

MemberCompsognathusApr-24-2014 8:14 AMgood fight, was rooting for Sucho.
It's pretty crazy how one or two little details can sway the out come. But hey, that's what keeps it interesting!
