"So guys, how is the new species coming along?" "That thing with the big teeth, right?" "Yes, the one we've named 'Horror Mouth.'" "It's doing nicely. It weighs about seven and a half tons, and it eats whatever we give to it, dead or alive." "Excellent. Pretty soon, we'll have something to replace the Tyrannosaurus Rex as the coolest dinosaur at the park." "Yeah, but people will want to see a Tyrannosaurus still." "We won't have any once the one on Nublar dies." "There's still that large male on the North end of this island though." "That's why we're going to force the thing North and prove its strength by pitting it against the Tyrannosaur." "Won't the boss get mad?" "The boss won't find out."

On the North section of the island, the Tyrannosaurus is resting. He's been watching boats and helicopters fly past for weeks, and they never fail to amuse him. He is about nine tons in weight and has taken on every species on the island at some point in his life. He has the respect of everything on the island, and he never has to worry about being attacked. The Horror Mouth was being released. He was one of the largest predators on the island, and the scientists were studying him from a helicopter.

The Horror Mouth was walking to the North of the island, towards the Tyrannosaurus. It encounter a few carnivores along the way. Most ran away, the ones that didn't were killed in a matter of seconds by the large front teeth. "How was thing created anyway?" "We took the DNA from a Spinosaur, a Tyrannosaur, and an Allosaur and mixed it up?" "Why an Allosaur?" "It's got the teeth of a Tyrannosaur, the overall build of a Spinosaur, and the determination of an Allosaur." "Makes sense. How long do you think the Tyrannosaur will last?" "Less than a minute at the most."

When the Horror Mouth found the Tyrannosaur, it was getting a drink from a river. The Horror Mouth roared and attacked the Tyrannosaurus. The Tyrannosaurus looked up and avoided the attack. The Horror Mouth looked at the Tyrannosaur and growled as the Tyrannosaurus roared. Neither were going to back down.

The Tyrannosaurus charged first, biting the snout of the a Horror Mouth. The Horror Mouth tried to pull himself free, but the Tyrannosaur had too good a grip. The Horror Mouth managed to open his jaws a little bit, and his teeth broke skin in the inside of the Tyrannosaur's jaw. The Tyrannosaurus let go and stepped back before growling. The Horror Mouth roared, and the Tyrannosaurus was figuring his opponent out.

The Horror Mouth charged and slashed the Tyrannosaurus. The Tyrannosaurus roared in pain and bit the Horror Mouth's back. He didn't let go, but the Horror Mouth struggled free, four of the Tyrannosaur's teeth stuck in his back. The Horror Mouth was slowed down by the injury, and the Tyrannosaurus knew he needed to go for its neck.

The Horror Mouth hissed at the Tyrannosaurus, and the Tyrannosaurus flashed his teeth. The Horror Mouth flashed his teeth, and the Tyrannosaurus charged. The Horror Mouth sidestepped and bit the Tyrannosaur. The Tyrannosaur roared in pain as the Horror Mouth's teeth sank into his tail, and he struggled to free himself. He managed to turn enough that he could bite the Horror Mouth's tail, and bit three feet off the end.

The Horror Mouth roared in pain, and the Tyrannosaurus quickly turned and faced him head on. The Horror Mouth charged and managed to slash the Tyrannosaur's face. The Tyrannosaur bit the Horror Mouth's arm and pulled. Blood squirted out the stump, and the Tyrannosaurus tossed the arm to the side. The Horror Mouth roared in pain and anger as he attempted to headbutt the Tyrannosaurus, but the Tyrannosaur braced himself and the Horror Mouth bounced off him.

Before he could recover, the Tyrannosaurus was biting his neck. The Horror Mouth couldn't do anything as his windpipe was crushed and he was slowly suffocated. With a loud crunch, the Horror Mouth dropped dead, and the Tyrannosaurus roared at the top of his lungs. "Looks like Tyrannosaurus is still King of the jungle." "Shut up, just shut up. That thing was the perfect predator. It had jaws, claws, speed, power. What went wrong?" "The Tyrannosaurus is a ton and half heavier, and it has a way higher bite force." "If that damn Tyrannosaurus didn't bite it, then the battle would have been different."

Winner....... Tyrannosaurus Rex

Larger, stronger, more experienced, a real dinosaur, Rex had an advantage.

Sorry for the lack of activity these past few days. I've been busy. My dad's idea of a holiday is do a crap load of work at home. It's been warm too, so I've been outside.
