Giganotosaurus
For theses duels, provided it survives Round 1, Giganotosaurus is an experienced, forty seven foot long, eight ton male. He is a tough old carnivore that has never hunted a Cerotopsian.
Triceratops
For this series, if it gets any farther, Triceratops is a thirty foot long, seven ton male. As for his experience, I'd say it's pretty good since he's leader of a herd. He is strong individual, and he's led the herd for many years.
Begin!
The Giganotosaurus is hunting. He is looking for any meal he can get to sustain himself, and he came across something of interest. He stepped into the clearing, and a female Tyrannosaurus Rex stood before him. He backed off and ditched the clearing, not wanting to mess with the King or Queen of the island.
The Triceratops wasn't as lucky, and he was attacked by an unseen threat which bit his leg and hid again. The Triceratops didn't know what it was, but he started walking in the direction the bite came from, leaving his herd to rest.
The Giganotosaurus stumbled across the Triceratops and growled at it. The Triceratops grumbled at the Giganotosaurus and stomped on the ground, thinking it was the Giganotosaurus that attacked him. The Giganotosaurus walked up to the Triceratops and roared, trying to make it turn to run away and then attack. The Triceratops stood his ground.
The Giganotosaurus didn't know what to do, having never fought a herbivore that stood its ground on its own. The Triceratops wanted to get back to his herd and kill the Giganotosaurus for what he did to his leg. The Triceratops charged and thrust his head upward, barely missing the Giganotosaurus's chest. The Giganotosaurus took the opportunity and bit the Triceratops's back, making some deep wounds. The Triceratops was used to worse and shook it off.
He turned and faced the Giganotosaurus, and the Giganotosaurus charged. The Triceratops didn't take his eyes off the Giganotosaurus and when the he sidestepped, the Triceratops lunged. He nicked his thigh, but couldn't do any more damage because his leg hurt too much. The Giganotosaurus roared in pain and turned in time to get another bite in. He bit the Triceratops's tail and pulled. The Triceratops kicked him in the face with his good leg, but while buying him some time, it also hurt his bad leg.
The Giganotosaurus took note of the bad leg and lunged forward. The Triceratops turned around in time to deflect the worst of the hit with his frill, but the Giganotosaurus took a chunk of skin with him. The Triceratops was losing blood, and the Giganotosaurus could tell it was do or die.
He charged the Triceratops, expecting it to not move, but instead, it charged. The Giganotosaurus didn't react in time, and the Triceratops's left horn hit him head on, narrowly missing several organs.
The Giganotosaurus slumped to the ground, and the Triceratops walked backwards to give the killing blow. The Giganotosaurus closed his eyes, preparing for the worst, but struggled to his feet. The Triceratops ran past him, losing vision from the blood loss, and ran into a tree. The Giganotosaurus finished him off and started eating.
A Tyrannosaurus Rex stepped into the battle ground, and he saw the Giganotosaurus towering over the dead Triceratops. The Giganotosaurus turned to face the Rex, who had some blood on his jaws, and roared. The T-Rex was mad that the Giganotosaurus killed his target, but had some respect for the large predator. He turned and walked away, not wanting to fight. Him and his mate had always shown mercy to their opponents, and didn't even bother killing a herbivore unless they were hungry.
Winner....... Giganotosaurus
I think that Triceratops would have easily been able to take on a Giganotosaurus, so I threw in the injured leg to even it out a little.

MemberCompsognathusApr-13-2014 5:30 AMI was rooting for the Triceratops, but it was still a freat fight. I'm seriously pumped for the rest of LS.
Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

MemberCompsognathusApr-13-2014 6:11 AMGreat fight Mr.Happy. I was rooting for the Giganotosaurus.
The giant gate that read Jurassic Park was ruined. The gates where torn off and their where pieces of them all over the ground. Muldoon saw herbivore foot prints maybe Parasaurs or the Trike herd W

MemberTriceratopsApr-13-2014 8:03 AMThis was a great fight. I feel a little sorry for the Triceratops crashing into the tree. Shows how dynamic a fight can be.
