IGN had the opportunity to chit-chat with Colin Trevorrow, who is directing the next Jurassic Park installment, Jurassic World. Within the interview, they were able to get Trevorrow to reveal one returning JP cast member, Dr. Henry Wu! “I know a lot of fans want to see the original characters back. They’re iconic,” said Trevorrow, “But I respect those actors too much to shoehorn them into this story for my own sentimental reasons. Jurassic Park isn’t about the bad luck of three people who keep getting thrown into the same situation. The only reason they’d go back to that island is if the screenwriters contrived a reason for them to go.

MemberCompsognathusMar-18-2014 12:43 PMThis is an entire new level of Double Post. Anyway, I'd love to see Dr. Wu return. He was basically the human version of the Dilophosaurus. Really cool, but only seen for a single scene. As for the rest of the original cast. While I'd like to see them return, I have no idea how they would make that seem logical in any way. I wouldn't want to go to Jurassic Park either (unless I'm on a helicopter or I have a small army to protect me).
Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-
