The Paddock
It was 1990. Terrance had been knocked out by something. He didn't know what it was, but a piece of metal had hit him the neck, and he blacked out an hour later. He was almost full grown, being about thirty eight feet long and seven tons in weight. No one knew if his size was natural, or a side effect to the engineering, but it didn't matter, Terrance was the main attraction.
Terrance saw a light. He didn't know what it was, but when he opened his eyes, he realized he was outside. He stood up and looked around, seeing trees everywhere. He started looking for an ideal place to sleep, and settled for a large tree. He started looking around the rest of the paddock, happy with his sleeping spot.
The first thing he found was a large pipe. He tried to stick his head in, but his head was too big to fit through it. He gave up after several attempts, and then continued walking. He found the hill to be a good place to stay, but ventured farther down when he heard something.
He walked to the bottom of the hill, and he saw a goat. He grabbed it in his jaws and swallowed it whole. He saw something else of interest, and walked towards the fence. He tried to bite the flashing light, but took a shock to his chest instead. He looked at the fence, annoyed more than injured, and growled. A maintenance crew was working the tour route. They looked at Terrance, and then went back to work.
Terrance sniffed the wire, and then tried to bite it. The wire electrocuted him again, and the he walked back. The maintenance crew looked at him, and then continued working, figuring the 5 000 volt fence finally got rid of him.
Terrance charged at the fence, and the whole thing creaked. He stepped back and ran at it again. The maintenance crew was getting worried, and by the time they were in the Jeep, Terrance destroyed the fence and started chasing them.
He gave up after a brief run, and then started walking around, exploring the rest of the island. It wasn't five minutes after he escaped when a whistle got his attention. He turned around, and saw Muldoon was on one knee with a steel tube resting on his shoulder. He looked at him, confused as a projectile rocketed towards him and hit him between the eyes. Terrance dropped quickly, both from the tranquilizer round, and the rocket hitting him between the eyes.
Terrance woke up the next day, and the paddocks were already upgraded to 10 000 volts. Terrance tried to break out, but the high voltage deterred his efforts.
