Ekrixinatosaurus Novasi
Length: 36 feet (11 meters)
Weight: 6 tons
Era: Middle Cretaceous
Location: South America
Ekrixinatosaurs are incredibly ferocious beasts that will attack anything that dares to come into their territotry or near their family. A bull Tyrannosaurus, which was 8 tons in weight, was easily defeated by a bull Ekrixinatosaurus which was protecting it's territory from the animal which was almost twice it's size. They are not very fast, but very powerful. They have a very thick skull and use it to ram their prey, but they also have a very strong bite. In bite force they even rival the Daspletosaurs on the island. Their arms are vestigial and serve no real purpose though.
Shaochilong Maortuensis
Length: 35 feet (10.5 meters)
Weight: 5 tons
Era: Middle-Late Cretaceous
Location: Asia
They are solitary hunters. Their legs are strong and so are their arms. They have 6.5 inch (16.5 cm) long claws on their hands and their jaws are also fairly powerful.
Fight!
A male Shaochilong is standing on top of a hill. Around him is a large plain. About twelve miles from the hill is a herd of Edmontosaurus. In the plain they can easily spot him. The male sighs and starts going back down the hill. Before he completely turns around he spots a herd of Torosaurus. He isn't sure if he should risk a battle with one of those formidable creatures, but before he can decide he senses another predator. Then he sees her. A large female Ekrixinatosaurus.
She is in the open and easily to spot. The herd of Edmontosaurs already start moving on, but the Torosaurs don't feel threatened and stay there. The female makes her way to the Torosaurs calmly. The ceratopsians start to form a circle around their young. The Ekrixiantosaurus knows how to deal with this from experience and roars at the herd loudly.
Some of the young Torosaurs panic and run out of the formation in an attempt to get away from the carnivore and before the adult Torosaurs can react, the female snatches one of the Torosaurs and runs away. The Torosaurs know that they can't keep up with the Abelisaur and let her run away.
Once the female is away from the herd she puts down the dead Torosaur and starts eating. The Shaochilong looks at her. She's a bit longer than him and a good bit heavier, but the Shaochilong hasn't eaten anything for almost three weeks. Then he starts heading towards her.
The female Ekrixinatosaurus flashes her teeth at him and mock charges. The young male falls for it and lunges forward. She rears up and then throws her head downward at the skull of the Shaochilong. The male falls down and grunts at her.
She grabs his neck in her jaws and picks him up. The Shaochilong struggles and makes her drop him, but she instantly grabs him again. But now the Shaochilong is in a better position and kicks her leg. She let's him go and releases a low-pitched scream as his toe claws scrape her bones and shear off a lot of flesh.
Both take a few steps back. The female has some trouble standing upright and the male is bleeding fairly heavily. This time the Shaochilong makes the first move by running at her and then jumping to the side. The female knows his plan and jumps back. The Shaochilong misses and is rammed by the female. Then they both engage in a shoving match.
The male is pushed away but not before slahing her side open. The female roars and backy away. She looks down her side and sees three large gashes. Then she roars at the Shaochilong angrily and charges at him. The Shaochilong doesn't react quickly enough and is hit by the female.
He falls over and the Ekrixinatosaurus head butts him in the chest. She assumes that the Shaochilong is going to kick her and so she backs away. She is right and the male misses completely. Then she runs in again and bites one of his legs. She shakes it around violently and it breaks.
The Shaochilong squeals in pain and anger, but he knows that from now on he can only delay his death. The female drops the leg and goes for his neck this time. She bites it with as much force as she can. The male punctures deeply into her chest, but it doesn't help at all. The female shake sher head around and snaps his neck. Then she drops his dead body and roars loudly.
Winner: Ekrixinatosaurus Novasi
