MemberCompsognathusMar-11-2014 9:47 PMA female Tyrannosaurus wanders Cretaceous Utah. She calls for her mate, and hopes he responds soon, they need to hunt. She is nearly starving and if she doesn’t eat soon, she will die of starvation. Suddenly she hears a rustle. The tyrannosaur ducks away into the rainforest and waits to see what will emerge. Meanwhile, an Ankylosaurus ambles along a river. He is an old male, and is eating low-lying scrub as he wanders. The living tank waddles dumbly through the brush to see what other plants lie beyond.
The Tyrannosaurus has watched the Ankylosaur wander into the clearing, and quickly ambushes the herbivore. She misdirects her bite and ends up slamming down half-heartedly on his armor. She backs up, some teeth fallen out. The ankylosaur grunts, then squats down, and prepares his tail for a swing. The tyrannosaur rushes the herbivore, and shoves into him. He nearly topples, but recovers and shoves the Tyrannosaur off. The T. rex shakes it off as the tail swings, and hits home. The Tyrannosaurus gets hit in the head, and crashes to the ground. The ankylosaurus, not wounded, or even tired, moves on.
The male Tyrannosaurus finally arrives at the scene, responding to his mate’s calls. He sees his mate, unmoving, and immediately realizes that she’s gone. He bellows in anger and sadness. He will avenge his mate, and only the attacker’s death will satisfy his bloodlust. He tracks the only nearby smell, an Ankylosaur.
The Ankylosaurus is rooting around in the brush, already haven forgot the Tyrannosaur attack. The male arrives, hiding in the jungle. He smells his mate on the Ankylosaur, and can tell that this is who took her. He bares his teeth and charges. The herbivore doesn’t even see it coming. The Tyrannosaur bites the ankylosaur’s armored back, only instead of letting go like his mate, he picks up the Ankylosaurus and throws it. The herbivore is flung across the forest floor like a rag-doll. He recovers and spins around to face his attacker. He swings his tail back and forth in warning. The tail hits the tyrannosaur in the face, and teeth go flying out of his mouth as the tip of the club sails into the T. rex’s jaws. The T. rex reaches down and grabs the ankylosaur’s leg, and crushes it with a loud crunch of bone. The herbivore bellows as the Tyrannosaurus rex flips the ankylosaur over and rips out the throat, and chunks of the underbelly. The King of the Dinosaurs bellows into the jungle.
The male’s mate wakes up, and shakes her head, still woozy from being knocked out. She is pregnant and will soon lay eggs, but first she finds her mate, and to his surprise, the two rulers share a meal.
TIE: The Ankylosaur put out one Tyrannosaur, but was killed by the next.

MemberCompsognathusMar-12-2014 3:08 AMNice fight. I was rooting for the Tyrannosaurs.
Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

MemberTyrannosaurus RexMar-12-2014 6:50 AMGood job, I was rooting for Rex. I'd say Rex wins for the simple reason that the first Rex did nothing but come as a slight annoyance to the Ankylosaurus. That's just me though.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexMar-12-2014 8:03 PMI guess, but then the actually combatant Rex tore the crap out of him, but that's my thinking.

MemberCompsognathusMar-12-2014 8:30 PM@Mr. Happy- Yeah, but the Ankylosaur basically owned his mate.
@RexFan- That was my basis! Haha
