Length: 3.25 meters
Weight: 500 lbs
Height: 1.4 meters
Era: Mid Jurassic
Proceratosaurus is a specialized ornithopod hunter. However, It is limited by it's rather small size. They take down ornithopods, such as Iguanodon, with a bite to the neck, and then evicerating the helpless animal. The tactic is brutal, but very effective. Proceratosaurus has also been seen to take small mammals, reptiles, pterosaurs, and even the odd egg. They are diurnal by nature, but can be active during the night. Proceratosaurus has dark red saddles and a tan underbelly.
Troodon
Length: 2.4 meters
Weight: 400 lbs
Height: 1.3 meters
Era: Mid cretaceous
Troodon is the arctic fox as Gorgosaurus is to the polar bear. While a predator in its own right, it will steal scraps from the Tyrannosaurs kill. Much like the arctic fox, the Feathers of troodon change with the seasons; a light blue in the symmer months, turning white in the winter. The long black stripe always remains for some odd reason. This troodontid has large eyes for great night vision, as they are mainly nocturnal by nature.
And...Begin..
The sun is starting to set on Isla Nublar as an Acristatherium wanders out of his burrow. He lifts his small snout to the air, checking for predators before he signals his mate to follow. The small mammals scamper over to a small group of ferns, and nibble on the scraps left by larger herbivores.
A Large clawed foot lands heavilyon the male Acristatherium. The impact breaks the primative mammals back instantly. Jarred by this, the female takes off for her burrow, running to protect her youngsters. As she enters the burrow, another clawed, scaly foot lands at the entrance. Then, a large dark eye. The troodon stands to her full height, and growls in frustration. She walks over to her sister, who had just swallowed the little Acristatherium whole. The mammal had not filled her stomach, so she decided to go on the prowl
Nearby, a male Proceratosaurus had been settling down for the night, when he witnessed the grisly scene. His stomach growled, he had not eaten in a good week or two. Knowing they would eventually lead to food, he followed close behind.
The two Troodon came to a small river, and stopped on the muddy bank. Many small pterosaurs were perched on the bank as well, eyes held intently on the water. This is what the Troodon had come for. The male kept his eyes on a particularly large one, and squatted down. The pterosaur, not even aware of the predators, kept its eyes on the water. The male Troodon jumped, clearing the small river and knocking the pterosaur to the ground. All hell broke loose. The other pterosaurs took to the air, squawking in fear and confusion. The pterosaur the male troodon pinned to the ground was fighting vigorously, but was silenced when the Troodon brought his toe claw down. Then all was still.
The male Proceratosaurus, frustrated the kill had happened across the river, focused on the smaller troodon. Slowly, he crept forward...
The female troodon attempted to jump the river as well, but her feet were stuck. She tried vigourously to pull her feet out, but to no avail. That's when the steady snorting of the Proceratosaurus caught her attention. The beast was making his way slowly towards her, drool coming off his upper jaw. The female troodon shrieked in fright.
The Proceratosaurus attacked.
As the male Troodon turned his head, he saw his mates neck in the now bloodied jaws of the Proceratosaurus. The animal broke her neck with a sharp twist, and proceeded to drag her corpse off.
He bounded across the river, and growled at the Proceratosaurus. The tyrannosauroid dropped his kill, and roared at the male troodon. He wasted no time in mauling his mates killer. He slashed at the Proceratosaurus' face, leaving a 4 inche gash below the eye. The bull Proceratosaurus luned forward and shoulder checked the Troodon, sending him into the muddy bank. The Tyrannosauroid walked over to the raptorid and stomped his chest, then hiss a warning. The Proceratosaurus walked back to his kill, picked it up heftily, and walked back to his territory,
The troodon growled and hissed violently as he attempted to get up. The proceratosaurus returned shortly, knowing the Troodon would be trapped in the mud. The Raptorid struggled violently, but it wasn't any use. The proceratosaurus rushed from the trees, and bit the Troodon on the neck. He shook focibly side to side, snapping the neck and back of the male troodon. He ate what he could there, before returning to his territory once more. The carcass would be left for the scavengers.
Winner...Proceratosaurus!
Larger, and being a bit more brutal, the Proceratosaurus won against two Troodon.

Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-
