MemberCompsognathusMar-09-2014 8:02 PMNow, As many of you remember the T-Rex hunting (People) in San-Diego in TLW, Did you ever catch the Asian Business men in suits running from the T-Rex?
It was actually stated, in the commentary, By the JP team, That this was a reference to godzilla. (In the windows behind the business men, theres even a godzilla poster?).
Now, If I remember correctly, They did this because they (Universal) were either making a godzilla movie, or referencing an already released one. The Rex in san-diego was never actually scripted, It was thrown in at the end to tie up loose ends and make the film better all around.
Now, We have Godzilla 2014 coming out this year! While JW is filming... Are you connecting any dots?
I am, Seeing how the title is called "Jurassic World" (Thinking of the name without any expirience to the original Trilogy makes it sound like a horrible cheap Rip-Off like "Atlantic Rim") The "World" part infers the dinosaurs escape their new park, I theroize due to the timing of the movie being made and godzilla coming out, I think we may see, Yet another, Reference to godzilla in Jurassic park...
(Do Note, I know very little about godzilla, More of a dinosaur person rather then a "Godzillian")

MemberCompsognathusMar-09-2014 8:04 PMHmm, possible. Whether it references an actual movie or not is yet to be seen. However, I do see what you mean as a reference to Godzilla in general with the Rex rampage in San Diego.

MemberCompsognathusMar-10-2014 8:41 AMI wouldn't put it ahead of universal, However, I don't believe universal is producing the new godzilla.
We might see a reference just because of the timing... I mean, the entire end of the moive wasn't planned... SOOOOO... Yeah, Anything could happen.

MemberAllosaurusMar-12-2014 3:41 PMFun Fact: The Rex in San Fransico was actually a refrenceo the original 1925 The Lost World film where a "Brontosaurus" goes rampaging through London.
