Which theropod group reigns supreme? that question is about to be answered. The largest of the large are about to come face to face. There will be blood. Let's meet the competitors..

Epanterias Amplexus

The individual is a 42 foot, 6 ton female.

Mapusaurus roseae

A 40 foot, 7 ton female who has just laid her eggs.

Ekrixinatosaurus Novasii

A 37 foot, 6 ton male. He has just reached maturity, and has a bit of growth to go through

Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus

A 52 foot, 7 ton male. It is the mating season for Spinosaurus, Males are highly aggressive.

Torvosaurus Tanneri

43 foot long, 8 ton bull. Torvosaurus is a predator of Predators.

Tyrannosaurus Rex

A 45 foot long, 9 ton male. Mid aged, but still ferocious; carries a deep resentment for other predators.

And....begin..

Isla Nublar is now in chaos. What was once a tropical paradise, is now a desert wasteland. The recent bird flu epidemic, coupled with the immense heat wave that had clutched the island for weeks, had decimated the Islands residents. Herbivores faired the worst. Most species were being wiped out at an alarming pace. The theropods are constantly at each others throats, competing for the Carcasses and prime territories.

In a deep stretch of jungle, a female mapusaurus shovels dirt on her newly laid eggs. She shovels the damp jungle substrate carefully onto her clutch with her snout. Her stomach growls; she hasn't eaten in at least to weeks. She decides the risk of leaving her eggs is worth the reward of flesh, so she goes on the hunt. She scent marks the area around her nest, hoping it would be enough to ward off any nest marauders.
The ever remaining scent of rotting meat churns the stomach of even the giant predator.
The giant Carcharodontosaur was so focused on the stench, she hadn't realized she had walked out of her territory.

She came across a bizarre sight. A giant, sail backed animal dancing in tight circles. As it walks around, the Carcharodontosaur sees the reason. A female Spinosaurus, decked in breeding colors, lay on the ground. A sudden warm gust of wind brought the presence of the Carcharodontosaur to the Spinosaurs. The female stands up and shrieks, turning her side to the immense predator, The male turns slowly around, and faced the Mapusaurus. The two behemoth animals stare at each other, unsure of what will happen next. The male Spinosaurus decides fighting with this animal will win the female over, and he advances. Neither animal makes a sound, and the Spinosaur stops 5 feet away from the Mapusaurus. Angered, and hopeful for a meal, the Mapusaurus lunges forward. She's met with the eight inch claws of the Spinosaurs massive hands.
The impact sends the Carcharodontosaur into a nearby pine tree, which crashes to the ground with the impact. The Carcharodontosaur slumps to the ground, and the Spinosaur gives a victorious roar, turning back to the female.
After a few minutes, the Mapusaurus gets to her feet. Blood drips down her snout, and she turns back the way she came..

Nearby, a female Ekrixinatosaurus gourges herself on the carcass of an Alamosaurus. She had been following the animal, when it suddenly collapsed. She ripped it open before it took its last breaths. She had started to eat the muscle surrounding the liver, when a blood curdling roar caught her attention. She looked up from her meal, and saw a large male Tyrannosaurus strutting towards her. He too had been following the Alamosaurus, and wanted it for himself. He walked up to the still warm carcass and roared at the abelisaur. The young female had not learned the rules of the island. She boldl y challenged the massive predator. She walked around the Carcass, bobbing her head much like a bird. The tyrannosaurus glowered at the abelisaur, and snapped his jaws. The abelisaur was undettered. She roared into the Predators face, and rammed him in his chest. A little stunned the smaller animal had attacked him, he took a few steps back. He lurched forward and bit down on the abelisaurs head, pitching his violently to the side.
The abelisaur is sent flying 20 feet, and hits the ground hard.
She had gotten back on her feet, when the beast burst through the nearby scrub of dead trees. The torvosaurus hit the abelisaur hard, sending her to the ground again. He bit down on her neck; exerting 3 tons of pressure, he breaks her neck. He lets her corpse fall to the ground, and is about to start feasting when the Tyrannosaur roars at him. He looks at the massive beast, and deciding he didn't want to fight, starts to drag the carcass towards the dead trees.

The commotion had woken a great beast. A large female Epanterias wakes, and smells the sweet stench of spilled blood. The immense allosaur had not eaten for many weeks, and was on the brink of starvation. She walks out of her cave, and upon the Torvosaurus eating the Ekrixinatosaurus. She walks around him carefully, knowing what these megalosaurs are capable of. She sucessfully makes her way around him, and onto the open plain in front of the dead trees. The immense carcass of a sauropod lay in the middle. Her stomach growls, and she practically runs to the mound of meat. That's when the Tyrannosaur pokes his head up. The blood curdling roar stops the Allosaur in her tracks. Having had enough of the areas predators, the Tyrannosaur steps around the carcass. It was time to send a message. He roars at the allosaur, who snaps her jaws and stomps her right foot into the sun baked earth.

Without warning, the Tyrannosaurus springs forward. His jaws slam down on only air as the allosaur dives to the side, then slashes the Tyrannosaurs sides, leaving huge gashes. The tyrannosaur is slow to react, and the Allosaur is unrelenting. He gets another swipe in, and the tyrannosaur is finally able to go on the defensive. before she can  pull her arm away from the Tyrannosaur, jerarm is yanked clean off by the Tyrannosaurus. The Epanterias shrieks in agony, stumbling backwards. The bull tyrannosaur capitalizes, sprinting at the allosaur. He rams into her, knocking her to the ground. Before she can get up, he bites down on her neck. With a single stroke, he crushes her windpipe. This wasn't enough. The tyrannosaurus proceedes to disembowel the allosaur, sending a message. This was Tyrannosaur territory now.

Close by, the female Mapusaurus comes across a carass of a stegosaurus. The flesh isn't too decomposed, so she settles down to feast. Blood still drips down her snout in a constant flow. Little did she know, the male spinosaurus from earlier had been stalking her. Times were toough on Isla nublar, and the drought had diminished the waters old spino had called home. With the recent confrontation between himself and the mapusaurus, he figured she would be easy prey. She saw his odddly colored sail from quite a distance. She got up from her meal, and prepared for round two. SHe stamped her feet in the cold jungle substrate and growled, swishing her tail side to side. ith little ways of intimidation, the spinosaur ran at the Carcharodontosaur. The female mapusaurus met him head on, and the two collided. The light weight spinosaur took a few cautionary steps back, but it was a little late for that. The mapusaurus bounded after him, going for his throat.

That's when the Earth started to shake. The very dirt below their feet trembled ceaslessly. Pterosaurs took from the trees, shrieking in dispair. The already off balance Spinosaurus was thrown to the ground, and struck his head on a large rock. The female Mapusaurus Instictively hit the ground and curled her tail towards her head. The shaing ceased after about a minute. All was calm. Slowly, the female

The Tyrannosaurus was still in a fighting mood. The scuffle with the Abelisaur didn't really challenge him, and being hopped up on adrenaline, he went looking for a fight. The Tyrannosaur walked towards the dead grove of trees, towards the Torvosaurus. He spotted the Megalosaur sitting by the Ekrixinatosaurus carcass, just laying there. he growled at the Torvosaurus, who promptly got to his feet. The torvosaurus walked up the Tyrannosaur and growls, his teeth glinting in the stale noon day air. The massive male Tyrannosaurus isn't impressed. He swings his head, knocking the Torvosaurus in the side of his own. The megalosaur is knocked off balance, and the Tyrannosaurus bites down on his neck. He muscles the Torvosaurus down to the ground, but the megalosaur isn't going to die without a fight. He kicks and scratches at the Tyrannosaur, opening new wounds on his skull and chest. The Tyrannosaurus lets go, but not without leaving his mark. Three of his large railroad spike teeth lay imbedded in the megalosaurs neck vertabrate. The Torvosaurus roars in agony, and prepares to go on the attack.

That's when the enormous wave breaches the horizon. The earthquake had created a tsunami, and it was now bearing down on the island. The two predators took off, towards the highlands, forgetting about their conflict.

The wave crashes down, suffocating any living thing in its wake.

The two beasts reach a tall rocky outcrop, and watch the destruction that is unfolding beneath them. The rocks below the feet of the immense carnivores starts to crumble. The torvosaurus is the first to notice, but he's too late. The rock gives way, and the two predators are sent plummeting to their deaths.

in the Nearby jungle, The female Mapusaurus broods over her nest. The massive wave had barely tickled the massive trees, so she was safe. Water washed around her feet, and up to her nest. She looked down curiously, but wasn't all that entertained. She lay beside her nest, unaware of the carnage that had just taken place. Tomorrow, she would see what her tropical paradise home had become..

Winner...Mapusaurus!

Wasn't at all how i expected it to end. Environmental factors, as well as the brute ferocity of the other theropods won the fight for this Carcharodontosaur.

Good job though I was rooting for and expecting Rex to win. Good job taking out the king in a non BS way.

thanks mr. Happy. It's difficult to kill the king off, so i wrote it to where he was kicking the Crap out of Torvo, then they both die. Best way i could kill him off

Anyone think I should do something like this for the final DD9097MS bonus fight? I will do something like this for LS, but I though maybe I could warm up for it a little by doing it with the 5 dinosaurs that got farthest in MS. Any votes for me doing this with Torvo, Allo, T-Titan, Das and Gorgo?

I'd definitely like to see that. If you make it, i'm rooting for Tyrannotitan.
