Primal King
MemberCompsognathusFeb-25-2014 5:59 PMAlright folks we're nearing the final stretch of the story! Tell me what you think!
I started the car and screeched off, as the open jaws lunged for me and my team.
The great beast roared viciously, it was angry. Just as the jaws were about to close on the back half of the car, a powerful impact jolted the Reaper. A spinosaurus. Spinosaurus was a giant fish-eating dinosaur, who had extendable appetites, and it was territorial. We drove on just as the spinosaur slashed at the T. rex and the Reaper grabbed his neck in retaliation. As we went around a curve, the Reaper bit down, crushing the spinosaur’s neck. The T. rex’s victory roar echoed for miles.
The tiny mammals had wounded him, and he was angry. It was not a bad wound, barely any damage, but wounding him meant they were a threat which had to be dealt with. They would invade HIS territory, HIS food source. Besides, he recognized the smell of one of them. The leader, the one who burned his face. He had hurt the Predator, given him scars. If he hurt him once he could hurt him again. However, he was a force to be reckoned with, after all, he was the Predator, He was the Alpha Male, He was The Reaper. And this, this was his jungle now, and NO ONE could take it back.
We made a plan, my team and I, and It was a good plan. We hid out in the ruins nearby and made a call to a nearby source. Everything proceeded according to plan. We camped out, some hid in sniper position, some faced for a full frontal attack. It was night time, and we heard a small noise. Emily called to the man closest to the sound “Everything alright over there?”
The man walked halfway into the jungle barely visible, then walked back, quietly.
“Yeah, nothing I could find over there.”
He was almost back to the camp and was just stepping out of the jungle when he tripped. He got up, as something grabbed him by the legs and whipped him into the darkness, with only his screams echoing through the night.
I walked slowly through gates. I was saddened by the loss of another good man, but I could mourn later. I walked slowly to the lush and jungly abyss. I aimed my gun in defense-
As the Reaper lurched out jaws open, hideous fangs gleaming with a fearsome bellow. I shot my gun, but it didn’t even slow him down. The plan was now in action. I ran across the ruins, the tyrannosaur not far behind. The bullets from the rest of my team, hidden or not, distracted him enough just to give me the lead. I got to the cliff face, the other end of the Ruins. The Reaper walked with slow menacing steps. A passing thought of how a tyrannosaur could walk silently, without you even knowing it was there, or could shake the ground with each step, intimidating you to your core. Right now he was definitely shaking the ground. And I was definitely intimidated. However, when he was less than 20 feet from me I whipped out the remote and pressed the green button that said OPEN. The gigantic cargo hauler nearby started to creak. The doors started to winch ajar. When they were only halfway open a gigantic force slammed them open, and a new beast emerged. Another T. rex.

Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-
