MemberCompsognathusFeb-21-2014 8:14 PMalright guys, you've seen the art. And here comes the fight!
Giganotosaurus
Length: 13 meters
Weight: 7 tons
Height: 4.25 meters
Giganotosaurus is a bit of a mystery. They are very elusive, shy animals. Their numbers are thought to be restricted to Nublar, as they have never been sighted on Sorna. Giganotosaurus usually roam in pairs, occasionally 3 to 4 if they are a mated pair with offspring. Giganotosaurus has a gentle demeanor, only becoming violent when it is hunting. They rarely fight, even when challenged for a kill. They have been seen taking down a Zhuchengtyrannus that got awful close to a youngster. Giganotosaurus is a pale blue color with multiple brown stripes on the neck and base of the tail.
Epanterias
Length: 12 meters
Weight: 4.5 tons
Height: 4 meters
Epanterias is the largest Allosaur on Either island. They are the terror of sauropods, roaming in gangs of 3, and raveging the Titanic long necks. They are so large, they have been seen preying on Brachiosaurus, something unusual the islands Carnivores. Epanterias seems to dispise its relative Allosaurus Fragilis, Frequently seeking them out and killing them without cause. Epanterias is a Charcoal grey with Crocodile like denticles on the neck and upper back.
And...Begin..
A lone male Epanterias is skulking through the dense vegitation of Isla Nublar. Two younger males had boldly trotted into his territory, and forcefully took it from him. He lost it all. His mate, His offspring, and a prime hunting territory. Now, he is in an irritable mood, and looks for something to take his aggression out on. The droning sound of the insects and the howling of the various primates were starting to get to him. He needs to get out of the forest.
He sees a faint light glowing from between two large, old looking Conifer trees. He runs into the less sturdy of the two, and sends it crashing to the ground. Light bursts through the new opening. The Allosaur squinted at the sudden brightness, but his vision soon refocused. He walked out onto a small prairie, dotted with fairly large boulders and knee high grass. He immidiatly got the attention of the resident Othneilia, who bounded away with suprising speed. The Allosaur snorted, they weren't worth it. He moved on.
The bull Epanterias suddenly felt the toll the fight with the two brothers had taken on him. He needed rest if he was to be in top condition. He walked over to a jagged boulder and lay at the foot of it. As soon as he did, a small Eagle perched on top of it. The bird of prey let out a shrill cry, before flying down towards the grass. The Allosaur watched as the Eagle pounced on something invisible to his eye. The bird pecked furiously at the animal, and flew back to its perch above the Epanterias. Blood trickled down the boulder, and the Allosaur continued to watch the bird of prey. He soon nodded off.
What he didn't realize is the boulder he lay near bore the claw marks of a Giganotosaurus, he was in dangerous territory. Something he would learn soon enough. While the Epanterias slept, A female Giganotosaurus walked onto the prairie, unaware of the large allosaur. She walked over to the rotting remains of an Othnelia. She gulped down the remaining scraps and took in her territory. She still didn't notice the Epanterias, and went to patrol her territory.
A cool mid day breeze woke the slumbering beast. The bull Epanterias got groggily to his feet. He was parched, and felt determined to find a water source. He approached a small creek and lowered his head. His eye caught a small carcass, and after his thirst was quenched he went to inspect it. There was very little meat on the small animal, but he ate what he could. As he stood up, he noticed claw marks on the bark of a small conifer tree. Territorial marks. Remembering his anger, he went in search of the occupant.
The female Giganotosaurus hadn't gone far when a small breeze brought the scent of a rival theropod. And it was huge. She immidiatly turned around, and spotted the Epanterias. She growled softly, and cautiously made her way towards the Epanterias. That's when he spotted her. He howled at her, and bobbed his head. She kept coming. The bull Epanterias knew there was going to be blood.
He rushed her, catching her off guard. He rammed into her, but she remained in place. She slashed out with her arm, and connected with his side, He looked up and howled in pain, but it was cut off. She grabbed him by the neck and threw him to the side. Before he could turn around, she was on him. She bit down on his neck and attempted to force the allosaur to the ground. The old Epanterias knew he needed to act. He struggled against the giganotosaur, and stood up. Suprised by the feat, the Giganotosaurus lost her grip. The Epanterias turned to face the larger animal. They let out a blood curdling roar simultaniously and began to circle each other.
The Epanterias was so focused on the Giganotosaurus, he didn't notice an old rotting log nearby. As he took another step, he stepped onto the log. The log went rolling away, and the Epanterias fell awkwardly to the ground. He had snapped his ankle. The allosaur roared in agony, but stopped dead when he noticed The Carcharodontosaur advancing. He howled at her, but she was unfazed. The female Giganotosaurus sprang on the Epanterias, flattening him. He tried to bite at her legs, but got unceromoniously stomped. The splitting headache he recieved was replaced by the excruciating pain in his neck. To his horror, the Giganotosaurus had him by the neck. She shook him like a ragdoll, and snapped his neck. She let him fall from her jaws, and stepped onto her dead adversary. She let out a roar so tremendous, that birds flew from the trees in fright. The roar echoed for miles, letting every predator nearby know this was her territory, and no one would take it from her.
And the winner is....Giganotosaurus!
Larger and stronger, The Giganotosaurus had almost every advantage going into it.

Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-
