DD9097MS Round 1 Fight 8: Majungasaurus vs Suchomimus

Majungasaurus

Majungasaurus was a twenty five foot long, ton and a half Abelisaur from Late Cretaceous Madagascar. It was pretty standard for Abelisaurs, and is considered one of the ugliest dinosaurs.

Suchomimus

Suchomimus was a thirty six foot long, three and a half ton Spinosaur from Mid Cretaceous Africa. It could likely swim quite well, and had large arms and claws.

A Majungasaurus is hunting. He had nothing to do and decided to do something constructive with his time and find a meal before he was desperate. He was experienced, being able to take anything that was up to about two tons in weight, but no amount of experience could prepare him for the fight he was about to get himself into.

A Suchomimus is fishing. He's caught several, and he wants to catch a few more before he lies down to eat. He caught one, and when he went to set it down on the pile, he saw that one was missing. He set the one in his mouth down anyway, and turned back to fishing. He looked behind him, and he roared at the creature that was dragging one of the fish away.

The Majungasaurus looked up, now intimidated because the Suchomimus knew he was there. The Suchomimus walked out of the water and grabbed the fish. They got into a tug of war, and the Suchomimus got the fish back and set it on the pile.

Before he turned back, the Majungasaurus was attacking him. He felt it in his neck, and he stood up to his full height to get the Majungasaurus off. The Majungasaurus let go, and before the Suchomimus lowered himself again, he attacked. He headbutted the Suchomimus's gut, making him stumble back, and then he jumped for his head.

The Suchomimus headbutted the Majungasaurus back, and he landed on the river bank. The Suchomimus brought his hand down trying to end the fight, but the Majungasaurus moved last second. The Suchomimsus's hand got stuck in the ground from the impact, and the Majungasaurus, after getting over the shock of his near death experience, attacked.

The Suchomimus fell on his side, and his hand was freed. The Majungasaurus went to bite his gut open, but he slashed the Majungasaurus in the face. The Majungasaurus jumped back, and the Suchomimus stood up. The Suchomimus saw the Majungasaurus was still dazed, and he slashed him again. This time, the slash had better affects, scratching bone along the length of his snout.

The Majungasaurus roared in pain and looked at the Suchomimus and started walking around him. The Suchomimus watched as the Majungasaurus slipped on the pile of fish, fell in the river, and roared as the water turned red and a Sarcosuchus swam away with him. The Suchomimus would have been laughing if he could, and he began eating his catch before something else did.

Winner...... Suchomimus

Larger and stronger, Suchomimus would have won regardless.
