My 2nd Classic fight- Ceratosaurus vs Allosaurus

Allosaurus vs Ceratosaurus:

Late Jurassic Utah. An Allosaurus walks through a forest, hungry. Allosaurus is now the dominant predator, except for the extremely rare Torvosaurus, and he knows it. That is why his name is Kiburi or Swahili for Proud. He roams these woods with arrogance, ready to frighten off any animal. He smells another animals’ territory, and enters, ready to scare away the current owner.  What he doesn’t know, is that he entered the domain of what might be the death of him.

A Ceratosaurus eats a Stegosaurus he just killed. He gorges himself, enjoying the delicacy. He suddenly smells an intruder. He growls and hides, ready to fight, in a guerilla warfare style. This is why his name is Shambulizi or ambusher. Suddenly an allosaurus steps into the clearing. He sniffs in confusion, and comes to the conclusion that it was a Stegosaur that he smelled. Meanwhile, the ceratosaurus bares his teeth, he has fought allosaur’s before, that is even where he got the carcass. Shambulizi readies to fight.

The allosaur slashes at the carcass, claiming it. He roars into the sun’s burning light. Suddenly, an enormous impact flips him over. If dinosaurs could talk, Kiburi would say “Hmmph?” He turns to find, a ceratosaurus baring down on him, eyes glowing, looing like a demon straight from hell. The allosaur rights himself, and snaps at the vicious yet smaller carnivore. Shambulizi roars back and slashes the face of his larger adversary. The fight is on.

The allosaurus bites the ceratosaurus by the tail, but the weak bite, does only minor damage. The ceratosaurus, roars in anger and (admittedly) annoyance, and bites back, baring giant blades of teeth, gleaming as he sinks them into the thigh of the allosaurus. The allosaurus yelps in surprise and pain, suddenly scared. His fright soon turns into seething rage and he uses his secret weapon, the hatchet bite. He unhinges his jaw and swings it in an astonishing arc, smashing the skull and teeth into the the ribs of Shambulizi. The ceratosaurus, widens his eyes, as the painful sensation of breaking ribs spreads throughout his chest.

The ceratosaur roars and viciously releases his secret weapon too, he swings his his head upward, and the thin blade-like horns slice into the neck of Kiburi. Blood gushes out all the wounds of predators, and the stare each other down, as the sun goes down and night shrouds them in darkness. Kiburi charges at the ceratosaurus, wanting to end this quick. Shambulizi flips over, not expecting it. The allosaurus rushes forward, ready to finish him, when he slashes at dirt. His smaller opponent has disappeared. He is suddenly nervous, not knowing where the ceratosaur could ambush him. Suddely the moonlight illuminates the Ceratosaurus behind him on a ledge 6 feet above the Allosaurus. Shambulizi jumps off with a vicious bellow, and lands on top of Kiburi, they buck and grapple, thrashing around until, one of them manages to reach and bite the throat of the other, ripping it out and snapping the neck all at once.
