DD9097MS Round 1 Fight 5: Mapusaurus vs Yutyrannus

Mapusaurus

Mapusaurus was a forty foot long, four and a half ton Allosaur from Mid Cretaceous South America. It was pretty standard for Allosaurs, and lived alongside Giganotosaurus.

Yutyrannus

Yutyrannus was a twenty eight foot long, two ton Tyrannosaur from Late Cretaceous Asia. It had long arms for a Tyrannosaur, and a full coating of feathers. It was fast and agile to make up for its small size.

Begin!

A Mapusaurus is hiding in a cave. He managed to tick off a T-Rex, and he escaped into the cave. The T-Rex was trying to get into the cave, but the entrance was too small, but it was slowly getting larger.

A growl from behind got his attention, and he turned to see a Yutyrannus. The Yutyrannus was mad that he was in her home, and she wanted him gone. The Mapusaurus decided to fight because his only other option was to try and avoid an angry T-Rex.

They looked each other in the eye, and the Mapusaurus looked much larger than he really was because of the slope in the entrance of the cave. The Mapusaurus was the first to attack, and he ran at the Yutyrannus. She jumped out of the way, and he saw the cave was much larger than the entrance made it look. The Yutyrannus saw that the Mapusaurus was large no matter how she looked at him, but this cave was her home, and she didn't plan on leaving it anytime soon.

A few small rocks rolled down the slope, but they weren't big enough to worry about. The Mapusaurus had been distracted by it, and the Yutyrannus used it to her advantage. She jumped onto his side and slashed, getting good grip from biting his neck. The Mapusaurus shook her off and attacked.

He bit her back, but she struggled free before he could do serious damage. She attacked him again, but he headbutted her, sending her into a wall. Before she could stand up, the Mapusaurus stepped on her leg, breaking it. The Yutyrannus roared in pain and looked at the Mapusaurus. He was about to go for the kill when the entrance caved in, and it got bright all of a sudden.

The T-Rex roared at the Mapusaurus, and he quickly ran around the Rex when he had the chance. The T-Rex was about to give chase when something else distracted him. He looked at the Yutyrannus, and she had four small chicks behind her. She growled at him, despite the pain in her leg, she was prepared to fight. The T-Rex looked at her, and felt bad about what happened to her. He lowered his head and stayed in the cave, watching the entrance.

Winner....... Mapusaurus

Mapusaurus was twice the size, and the T-Rex only succeeded in keeping the Yutyrannus alive.
