DD9097MS Round 1 Fight 4: Daspletosaurus vs Ceratosaurus

Daspletosaurus

Daspletosaurus was a five ton, thirty five foot long Tyrannosaur from Late Cretaceous North America. It was basically a miniature T-Rex.

Ceratosaurus

Ceratosaurus was a two ton, twenty foot long Ceratosaur from Jurassic Earth. It was agile, and had large teeth and small horns on its nose and above its eyes.

Begin!

A Ceratosaurus getting comfortable. He had found a Brachiosaurus carcass. There was little meat left on it, but the skin that remained hid him very easily when he went into the rib cage. There was a Megalosaurus carcass with a rib through its leg, and the Ceratosaurus had been eating it.

A Daspletosaurus is hunting. He left his mate behind to go hunting while she looked after their nest. He didn't want to get hurt too badly, so he would take the easiest meal available. He came across the Megalosaurus carcass, and after a quick struggle, pulled it free. He picked it up was about to walk away when a growl got his attention.

The Ceratosaurus walked out from the ribcage and looked at the Daspletosaurus. The Daspletosaurus looked back, and didn't know what to think of the small creature that was challenging him. The Ceratosaurus roared, and the Daspletosaurus roared back, thinking that he was going to have an easy battle and a better meal for little work.

The Daspletosaurus walked up to the Ceratosaurus and they walked in circles. The Ceratosaurus saw the Daspletosaurus was larger than he expected, and the Daspletosaurus thought the Ceratosaurus would be an easy meal.

The Ceratosaurus attacked, going for the Daspletosaurus's face. The Daspletosaurus headbutted the Ceratosaurus, and then bit his arm. The Ceratosaurus used his free arm and slashed the Daspletosaurus under his left eye. The Daspletosaurus jumped back and growled at the Ceratosaurus.

The Ceratosaurus looked at the Daspletosaurus, and the Daspletosaurus looked back at him. The Daspletosaurus looked the Ceratosaurus in the eye, and was creeped out by the blackness of his eyes.

The Daspletosaurus attacked, and the Ceratosaurus jumped out of the way and jumped onto his side. The Daspletosaurus shook around trying to get him off, and the Ceratosaurus jumped off after kicking the Daspletosaurus in the head. The Daspletosaurus shook his head and saw a shadow.

He turned around, and the Ceratosaurus was in the air going towards him. The Daspletosaurus was confused, but headbutted the Ceratosaurus, sending him into the ribcage of the carcass. One of the ribs pierced his gut, and the Daspletosaurus grabbed him by the neck and pulled. The Ceratosaurus came free, and the Daspletosaurus walked towards his nest, while a Troodon that was watching the battle shook his head, having seen that same move done before.

The Daspletosaurus got back to the nest, and his mate greeted him warmly. He set the Ceratosaurus down and looked at it for a minute. He saw that it was still alive, and his mate stepped on its head and began eating it.

Winner..... Daspletosaurus

Larger, stronger, and more motivated, Daspletosaurus would have won almost every time.
