DD9097MS Round 1 Fight 2: Baryonyx vs Concavenator
Baryonyx
Baryonyx was a thirty three foot long, two and a half ton Spinosaur from Early Cretaceous Europe. It had a large thumb claw on each hand, and was likely an excellent swimmer.
Concavenator
Concavenator was about twenty three feet long and one and a half ton Allosaur weight from Early Cretaceous Europe. It had large arms and was likely agile.
Begin!
A Concavenator is hunting. He hasn't eaten in a day, and if he didn't kill something, he wouldn't die because of it. He sensed something next to a large river, and decided to see what it was.
A Baryonyx was sleeping next to the river. He had eaten his fill of fish, and wouldn't need to move for a week. He had been asleep for a few hours, and he woke up to move to the shade. He stood up and looked around, and thought he saw something in the bushes. He hissed at it, but there was no reaction. Still feeling uncomfortable with it, he walked up to it.
The Concavenator was deciding what to do. The Baryonyx was walking right up to him, and he didn't know what to do. He decided to take a chance and jumped at the Baryonyx. The Baryonyx ducked out of the way and looked at his opponent. He wondered what he should do about the smaller intruder. The Concavenator saw that the Baryonyx was a bigger challenge than he expected and started to wonder if it was worth the risk.
They walked in circles, neither sure of what to do. The Baryonyx flashed his teeth and stood up, and the Concavenator did the same. The Baryonyx decided to use his size advantage and charged at the Concavenator. The Concavenator jumped out of the way and then jumped onto the Baryonyx's side. He started slashing, and the Baryonyx shook from side to side to try and shake him off. He ended up going into the river, and the Concavenator let go, not liking the water much.
The Baryonyx decided to stay in the river until the Concavenator left, but lost patience after a few minutes. He walked out of the water and roared at the Concavenator. The Concavenator realized that the Baryonyx was getting mad, and didn't know what to about. The Baryonyx slashed the Concavenator in the face with his large hand claws, and the Concavenator decided that it wasn't worth the fight and ran. The Baryonyx watched the Concavenator, then swam across the river and went to sleep in the shade.
Winner...... Baryonyx
Larger and stronger, the Baryonyx had a slight advantage.

MemberCompsognathusFeb-14-2014 4:39 AMGood Fight! I was rooting for Baryonyx.
Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

MemberTyrannosaurus RexFeb-14-2014 8:33 AMThanks guys.
I actually just realized (SPOILER ALERT) that BOTH Spinosaurs are eliminated by a TYRANNOSAUR (Daspletosaurus is in here, as is Torvosaurus, do you really expect Baryonyx and Suchomimus to be able to take Daspletosaurus).
