Chapter 8: Lust
Poppaea turned away once Hades rounded a bend just inside the cave’s entrance, but looked back when she heard Tytus’ roar. She was enthralled with the power of his voice, and humbled by his willingness to ward off anyone who threatened or humiliated her. Even when the threat was long gone, Tytus would still defend her with his life. A wave of emotion swept over her, causing her heart to beat faster and her knees to feel weak. It also didn’t help that Tytus’ head was still bright red and his muscles were rippling with tension.
Tytus walked towards his mate with worry. He wanted to make sure she was alright after taking her stumble. Concern entered his eyes at the prospect of Poppaea being hurt, even if the injury was minor. He walked around her, breathing quickly to sense any wounds. Tytus didn’t sense any until he looked Poppaea in her left eye. There was some bruising just under her lower eyelid that resulted from the steak that Hades hit her with.
“Thank goodness it wasn’t her eye,” thought Tytus. Very slowly, he used the tip of his tongue to lick Poppaea’s bruise, just like she did with his scar before Hades arrived on the scene. The only reaction Poppaea gave was her shutting her eye instinctively, but she was deeply moved by the gesture. Then, Tytus draped his neck over Poppaea’s in a form of intimate embrace. He would do anything for his beautiful mate, and wanted to show that he will always be there for her.
Poppaea nuzzled against her mate, eager to be close. She could feel his strong heart beating against her neck, which made her tremble. She was shaking so hard that she thought that she would fall down. But then, she realized that Tytus was also shaking.
They looked into each other’s eyes as Tytus released Poppeaea from their embrace. A deep connection unfolded in their eyes, and they both felt the same emotion wash over themselves. And very slowly, Poppeaea bent over while exposing her throat by lifting her head. This was the most vulnerable and submissive posture a therapod could do, but in doing so, she let Tytus know that she was open to even more intimate advances.
Tytus could not believe it. Things were going very well for both, and quickly too. He thought that he would never meet another T.rex as a bachelor, given how long he waited, and here was the most beautiful T.rex in the world, his mate, begging his advances. It was a lot to take in.
Nervously, Poppaea looked up at Tytus. She wondered if she had done something wrong, but she couldn’t help herself but show how much she cared about Tytus. He was so grand and powerful, and yet so gentle and caring of her. These were the traits she was looking for in a mate, and here she was, showing him how much he meant to her by exposing her vulnerable throat.
Then, Tytus shook off his stupor and slowly bent over. Very lightly, he rubbed his nose ridge against Poppaea’s throat while gently blowing air against her tender flesh. This gave him chills, but it affected Poppaea even more; her head burned an ever-brightening orange, and she was literally shaking with pleasure.
Several minutes passed while they stroked each other. Then, Tytus and Poppaea walked back to their kill for a nice dinner and to resume their elaborate courtship dance.
Later that night, under a full moon, the valley echoed with bellows of delight and ecstasy from the forest. All its inhabitants heard them, including a cave-dwelling monster…
