Primal King
MemberCompsognathusFeb-12-2014 6:11 PMThere once was a king. A king among kings, a ruler of anything he wanted. This tyrant was a Tyrannosaurus rex. A 60 ft T. rex with jaws containing railroad spikes, and the greatest bite force the world has ever seen. Tyrannosaurus is already the most powerful predator the world has ever seen, but when this T. rex emerged, it gave meaning to the words fear, power, and ferocity. This was the ruler and dominater of all other dinosaurs. A ruler of rulers, tyrant of tyrants, a king among kings. This Tyrannosaurus rex's name gave the word a whole new meaning, of terror and horror. The T. rex's name was TERRANCE...
So this is my updated version of Terrance from Mr. Happy's story. Enjoy and tell me what you think!
And if it doesn't work: Terrance Link...

MemberTyrannosaurus RexFeb-12-2014 6:17 PMIt didn't work, so I clicked the link. I wasn't disappointed, that's awesome. Terrance never killed a Spino though, but that doesn't matter, great job.

MemberCompsognathusFeb-12-2014 6:18 PMThat's pretty awesome, i didn't even notice Thorn, Tommy and Sammy before. Anyway, nice picture, love the colors and the detail that went into the scars.
Btw why is there a spino skeleton? Am i forgetting a large part of the story again?
Nevermind

MemberCompsognathusFeb-12-2014 6:20 PMI just figured maybe he came across an aggressive spino at some point not in the story so thats why thats there. But glad you liked it! Hope it met your expectations. Did you notice Thorne, tommy, sammy, and the Utahraptor?

MemberTyrannosaurus RexFeb-12-2014 6:30 PMI forgot to mention, nice job with the description of Terrance. I guess we could say he met a Spino at some point and killed it, I left plenty of room for speculation. Nice job with the Torvosaurus skeleton (or Giga/Carchar, not sure, doesn't matter either).

MemberTriceratopsFeb-12-2014 7:28 PMThis is one of the best dinosaur drawings I have ever seen. Terrance truly looks like the one dinosaur you never want to mess with, or even look at because he is so terrifying. Basically that is a demon straight from hell staring at you (with a murderess in Thorn beside him).
My only criticism about it is that Terrance looks a little too thin. Considering how old he is, shouldn't be much heavier-looking and robust in his own proportions? Thorn looks like she is more heavily built than her brother (but that might be the angle of the view). In my own opinion, Terrance's chest looks too shallow and his legs look too thin for an old male T.rex.
As well, does anyone know how Terrance lost his right arm? I read through the story before and I can't remember a time when he did lose it.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexFeb-12-2014 7:55 PMI like the rather thin looking build myself, but that's just personal taste.
About his arm, i think it was actually his left arm (doesn't matter, small detail that the writer just pointed out) that was lost in Chapter 16 (ish, within one chapter of it) when Terrance and Thorn were separated after Thorn was ambushed (but defeated ) a Torvosaurus and was almost killed by the siblings (remember the pair from the original? They were the offspring of those two), and Terrance wandered off in the name of vengeance.

MemberCompsognathusFeb-12-2014 8:00 PMI made Terrance more lean, because hes a more muscular fit animal. Just because hes older doesnt mean hes fat. Quite the opposite, hes had to fight all his life. But he lost it in a fight with the pair that killed his parents. And although Thorn is smaller, she has to have babies so she is more robust. But I am currently doing a design of My T. rex that I'm designing based off of this version of Terrance. This new rex will be in my story Im writing soon. Glad you liked it guys!

MemberTriceratopsFeb-12-2014 9:07 PMPrimal King, I didn't mean that Terrance should be depicted as being fat. I meant that he should have a lot more muscle on him than the average T.rex would. And using the hypothesis that T.rex never stopped growing, Terrance should have a lot more muscle on him.
Nonetheless, it is your artistic vision, and it's a good one at that.
Alphadino65
MemberTriceratopsFeb-12-2014 9:09 PMAnd did you mean that he lost a lot of muscle from the fight with the T.rexes that killed his parents, or that he lost all his fat (if he had any)?
Primal King
MemberCompsognathusFeb-13-2014 12:18 AMi know what you meant alphadino, I was just saying he would not be very robust. If you look at all the muscle definition I gave him you'll see how muscular and toned I made Terrance. He's actually very well muscled if you look.:)
and neither, I meant that his arm got ripped off in the fight, along with the spine chunk. But I appreciate your kind words and I'm glad you liked the pic. ;)

MemberTyrannosaurus RexFeb-13-2014 6:11 AMTerrance lost his arm three quarters of the way through New World, but his spinal injury was from the Pair. Those details don't matter for this picture though.
