"Tyrannosaurus Rex might be one of the best known dinosaurs, but scientists are still not exactly sure how the prehistoric giant walked.

And in a bid to find out, a group of researchers attached fake tails to chickens and analysed the way they walked.

While the idea might look more like a school project than a serious experiment, the scientists chose chickens because modern birds descend from a group of dinosaurs that includes the T-Rex."

Probably similar to birds, yes. I agree with that, but attaching fake tails to chickens would have been funny to watch.

eh, Dromaeosaurs are more closely related to chickens probably. i could see a Tyrannosaurus doing the head bob, that's one giant chicken!

This isn't an exact replica of the walk cycle... Chickens are indeed closly related to many dinosaur speicies, However, There has been a lot of bone loss. But that would contibute to maybe about anywhere from 10% to 20% of results...

Still interesting
