A week after construction of the paddocks was completed, men were already beginning to capture dinosaurs. A helicopter is flying, looking for suitable targets.
"General Smith, how about that one?" "Which one Private?" "That big mean looking one with the hat." "Rexy? The T-Rex down there." "Yeah, that one." "Later, she's friendly, won't even need to tranquilize her." "Really?" "Yes, you weren't here when we rescued Robert or when we started building. It was awesome, we'll have to show you later."Thorn looked up and saw the helicopter. She didn't think much of it, the island had been buzzing with activity for about two months, and she learned to just ignore it. She went hunting on her regular routine and in her regular spot, the central watering hole. When she got to the watering hole, the herbivores were already panicking, and she didn't know why. She saw the helicopter and thought it would have something to do with it. She attacked one of the panicking Parasaurolophus and killed it quickly, the whole team on the helicopter seeing it as they flew away. Thorn saw a sling under the helicopter, and she thought she saw a dinosaur in it, but she wasn't sure.
"General, what happened to her being friendly?" "She was hunting, she's friendly towards people, but apparently she will fight to the death to defend something." "Really?" "I think so, apparently the biggest thing she has ever fought and not killed is a Triceratops." "How do you know that." "It was a long flight by helicopter, Robert had plenty to say." "I guess, twenty years with a T-Rex as your best friend. How did he not go insane?" "He taught the Rex some things, and he talked to it about random things." "I guess that's all he could do. What a beautiful island." "I know, it's a good thing Hammond talked the government out of nuking this island." "Yeah, for the beauty, and for Muldoon. Wasn't the island bombed though?" "Yeah, it was, but apparently enough dinosaurs survived to repopulate." "Haha, all but the Rex." "There was only one originally cloned. How did she survive? I think Muldoon said she hid in a cavern, but it caved in and she barely survived." "Well, it seems she's doing better now." "I know, sure seems tough." "She is, Muldoon even said that the Triceratops had jammed its horn three inches into her chest and she kept going. There was the bombing where she came out of the rubble, and there might have been one other time, but I'm not sure." "The point is, she's alive, and she's going to be the main attraction." "That's true Private. Looks like we're at our destination." "Awesome, now let's eat."
