MemberTyrannosaurus RexFeb-04-2014 10:02 PMWarning! Warning! If you are easily offended by people with different opinions than you, please leave now. If you proceed, proceed with caution, you will see thoughts that are radically different than yours.
If that warning doesn't work, here it is.
Length:
Anywhere between 45 and 55 feet, averaging 50 feet.
Height: 20 feet at the top of head, 25 feet at top of sail (head is higher than back, spines estimated at 6 feet high, so 20 feet at head, subtract 1 foot at back, add 6 feet of sail to back, 25 feet tall at top of sail).
Weight:
6-10 tons, averaging 8 tons.
Remains bombed in WW2:
I think that the remains were of an exceptionally large individual because few remains have been found in the Sahara, and the ones that were found, were in bad condition. Erosion has likely destroyed the average sized remains.
Fight Tactics:
I think that Spinosaurus would bite and slash its opponents in a fight, but probably relied heavily on intimidation.
Diet:
I think Spinosaurus was mainly piscivorous, but may have hunted anything Ouranosaurus sized and smaller. It also probably scavenged when fish levels were low.
Feel free to disagree, that's what opinions are for. If you didn't like it, please, don't whine about it, it's your fault for looking.
For those who won't give me crap, thanks for reading, hope you agree and understand my opinions better.

MemberCompsognathusFeb-04-2014 10:15 PMhopefully certain members just don't scroll on through and start hating again...this is probably the more accurate thing out there any way. Monsters resurrected made it some unbelievably huge monster that picked up 6 meter rugops and killed Carcharodontosaurus with a single swat....sad stuff..

Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

MemberCompsognathusFeb-06-2014 7:15 AMI would like to formally apologize for all the negative vibes coming from members of Team Spino. I come back and Godzillasaurus is here raising havoc and everyone is protesting, and who knows about Spino Rex. These sorts of heated arguments shouldn't be happening. We can all agree to disagree. I am on Team Spino, but largely I agree with what you all say. I have pointed this out many times, that jsut because you are on Team Spino doesn't necessarily mean you think Spino is the top predator.
Personally, I believe that Spino and Rex would be equally matched in a fight, as I stated a while back in my "T-Rex = Club, Spino = Spear" theory. But because Spino and Rex never would have actually met on the battlefield, I agree that much of what you all say is true.
Granted, there is some truth in Godzillasaurus' theories about Spino, but he shouldn't be shoving his theories down your throats.
I hope all of your opinions of Team Spino have not lowered. Please accept Team Spino's apology, and know that it is still full of calm, sane, and understanding members.

MemberAllosaurusFeb-24-2014 5:15 PMI agree with almost every word in your statement Mr.Happy. It's nice to know a lot of Team Rex (and Team Spino) don't make the dinosaur they're representing really Overpowering. Believe me, I've seen a lot of crap about Rex vs. Spino.
