Back At Nublar

Thorn had watched the helicopters fly away, and she was happy to see Muldoon was with his own kind again. She was also disappointed because she was alone again, and unless another Tyrannosaurus was cloned, it was going to stay that way.

Thorn walked away from the area, the original visitor centre, and went to find a meal. She could do without one for a while, but she felt like killing something. She went to the watering hole, figuring something would be there. The walk was long and boring for her, not having anything around to communicate with.

When she got to the watering hole, she saw a familiar figure lying on the ground. She saw it was a Triceratops, and cautiously walked out, thinking the rest of the herd would be close by. When she got to it, she saw it was Lady Margaret. Thorn continued looking at the carcass, and gave a silent growl. Part of it was respect, but the majority was disappointment for not being there to see her death. She tore at the carcass, and when she finished, went to her original paddock.

When she got back to her paddock, she went to her favourite spot, the grassy patch with the overhanging rock. She went to sleep, missing Muldoon already, and hoping he was doing better with his own kind.

I wonder if Lady Margaret died of natural causes, or was killed by something. ;)

Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

Poor Thorn, all alone. Great chapter.
