Besides, it's not like anybody insulted Spino by calling it a Piscivore. Modern Crocs are mainly Piscivores and they are one of the most powerful and ferocious animals known. Nobody here believes that Spino was weak in any shape, way or form, it was one of, if not the, strongest Theropod known and if it only ate fish that doesn't change anything, it was still a monster straight from hell with the ability to mess up 99.9% of the known terrestrial creatures (nothing in the right mind would ever dare to attack an Amphicoelias).
Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-
Thank you for wording that the way you did ;)
But the first part of that, to me, that there is quite an insult. I mean, it prolly was specialized for eating fish, but something that big, im gonna say it, had to to have eaten things much bigger than fish.
There's no use in arguing about who would win in a fight that never happened anyway, we should all just enjoy these incredible creatures the way they are and stop comparing them to each other.

It's obvious that it had to hunt from time to time, i personally think that it was a Piscivore about 60-70% of the time since fish was probably a very reliable source of food because the sahara desert was basically just a giant swamp back then, but it would dry out from time to time forcing the animal to either go hunting or scavenging, hunting wouldn't be much of a problem since ouranosaurs were fairly easy to take down and if it scavenged it means that it most definitely had to fight other predators for their kill.

Good, everybody is calm and collected.

UCMP is right, Spinosaurus was very impressive, and was most likely incredibly powerful, it needed to be. Like other impressive carnivores (Charcarodontosaurus, Torvosaurus, Tyrannosaurus) it would scare the s**t out of any other animal it came in contact with. Although, it might not have had some of the components that other theropods have, it had its own weapons that it could use to its advantage easily. So I agree its time to just let things slide and laugh at all the jokes.

I feel like there was some rule regarding Spino/Rex debates...

oohhh there is. But these guys wanna start something? let them. I'm tired of them complaining on our posts about how we don't show how strong spino "really was". They can't even be happy when Primal King and I let Spinosaurus win for crying out loud!

@Fact Dude - Chill it out buddy, no need to get hostile over a harmless joke.

You know I think us Rex fans are just tired of being careful to avoid upsetting a Spino fan. Whenever we even speak our mind, Spino fans say that we are starting a war. We can say what we think about things, and no one has ever said Spinosaurus is weak by any means. We all just agree T. rex was more powerful, that's IT. So basically Spino fans need to take a Xanax.
