Suchomimus:
Length: 11 meters
Height: 4 meters
Weight: 3 tons
Era: Early Cretaceous
Suchomimus looks like a crocodile on steroids. It spends the majprity of it's life in the shallow waters of isla Nublar, eating a variety of sharks and rays, and even the occasional crocodile. It has next to no competition, and because of this their numbers have exploded in recent years. They are somewhat social animals, especially when prey is plentiful. There has been as many as thirty of these spinosaurs on one stretch of beach. Suchomimus doesn't tolerate other spinosaurs for some odd reason, and they will even attack a large spinosaur if it intrudes on the Suchomimus' beach. These spinosaurs come in a pale green color, and sport a small yellow dewlap.
Spinosaurus Marocannus
Length: 13 meters
Weight: 4 tons
Height: 5 meters
Era: Early Cretaceous
This spinosaur is the least aggresive of the family. It will fight, but only relectantly when provoked. Like its larger relative, it is mainly a piscovore, but when water sources are diminished it will attack small hadrosaurs. S.Marocannus has little to fear, with the exception of larger predators.
Fight!
The bull suchomimus paces his ravine home. He smells the all too familiar scent of family, Spinosaur. He cannot tell how big or where the Spinosaur is, but he can tell it's approaching. He had already had to kill many rivals just to keep his territory, and wasn't about to loose it. He was itching for a fight the longer he waited for the beast to reveal itself.
The bull Spinosaur frightened a nearby group of pterosaurs fishing feet away, and with a shrill call, they took to the sky. He watched, unaware he was the cause of their swift departure. After a minute, he resumed his keen watch. An hour passed, and the Suchomimus figured the large rival Spinosaur had moved on. He was wrong.
The bull Suchomimus went into the water, hoping to catch a small alligator or two. He was so entranced with watching the water he didn't hear or see the Spinosaurus walking up behind him. The Big female watched the suchomimus, a bit curious to what he would catch. She saw his head dart into the water and come up with a small alligator. As the Suchomimus turned to throw the crocodilian on the shore, he locked eyes with the Spinosaurus. The bull had a look of comical amazement as he stared, but a burning fury soon replaced it.
He threw the gator on the shore and howled at the huge Spinosaurus. The female Spinosaur responded by turning her sail a coal black color. She was more interested in the crocodilian dinner now feet away, rather then fighting the angry Suchomimus. She bent down to sneakily grab it, when the Suchomimus swatted her with his hand claws. She jerked her head up, quite alarmed. A small amount of blood ran down her face, and she let out a whimper. The Suchomimus was now looking up into the Spinosaurus' face, and he let out a ear shattering roar. The Spinosaurus backed up, her ears ringing. She saw the Suchomimus was standing right over the gator, and she made up her mind: she wanted it.
She swung her massive arm, and slapped the Suchomimus hard. The impact sent the Suchomimus reeling to the side, and the Spinosoaurus swiftly grabbed the still alive gator and turned to run. The Suchomimus wasn't going to let her leave, not alive. The bull Suchomimus reached up and bit down on the Spinosaurus' neck. The grip was weak, and the female Spinosaurus turned and grabbed the Suchomimus by the neck.
Unfazed, the Suchomimus bit down. His bite didn't penatrate the Spinosaurus' skin, and using her position, She threw him into the ravine. She looked at the Suchomimus, then made a hasty exit...Gator in her jaws. By the time the bull Suchomimus got to his feet, the Spinosaur was long gone. He let out a frustrated growl, and decided he was better off catching another gator. He returned to the water, trying to get the embarassing loss off his mind.
Winner....Spinosaurus Marocannus!
Bigger and a tad bit stronger, S. Marocannus got her gator without having to kill the Suchomimus
