MemberCompsognathusJan-30-2014 11:04 PMAlright here we go! My first fight.
Acrocanthosaurus:
LENGTH: 39 ft
HEIGHT: 16 ft
WEIGHT: 4 tons
ERA: Mid Cretaceous
Acrocanthosaurs are without a doubt some of the fiercest of all the predators on Isla Sorna. They only fear larger predators like Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus. They also have a bizarre attack method for rivals. They will act like they are submissive then suddenly attack without mercy. One keeper commented "They're tricksters with serious anger management issues." They are rare on both Islands and inhabit the forests near plains.
SAUROPHAGANAX
LENGTH: 40 ft
HEIGHT: 16 FT
WEIGHT: 4 tons
ERA: Late Jurassic
Saurophaganax was initially mistaken for an unusually large Allosaurus. However, they soon found their mistake out when it developed larger size, brighter colors, and high intelligence. Although not as smart as some later predators such as T. rex or raptors, they are still leagues above the typical Allosaur. They are the only animal that can form and lead a pack of Allosaurs. Their hunting method is to run after the prey while different members of the pack attack at different check points. They are present in miderate number for one per Allosaur pack.
FIGHT!
A lone male Saurophaganax walks through a stormy night on Isla Sorna. He recently lost his pack to an attack Bull Tyrannosaurus rex, with him being the lone survivor. The allosaur is subsequently starving. He is not used to hunting alone and is still adjusting to single life. Suddenly he smells a carcass. He sprints towards the area, following the scent. He arrives to find a raptor pair feeding on a dead parasaurolophus. With a roar he charges the dromaeosaur couple, startling them and chasing them off. Just as he is about to enjoy his meal, the allosaur hears an echoing roar. He looks up to find a female Acrocanthosaur. She roars at him and approaches the carcass. Any other time he would duck his head and run, but not this time. He’s starving and this is his food now. The fight is on. He lets out a challenging roar, and to his surprise the Acro submits. Just as he claims the carcass, the Acrocanthosaur charges forward and bites the face of the smaller Allosaur. He struggles and manages to scratch the larger dinosaur’s face and the Acrocanthosaur loses her grip. He shakes it off and rushes the Acro, jaw unhinging. Then he swings his head down in a hatchet move that breaks many ribs and leaves deep gashes in the bigger allosaur’s flanks. The Acrocanthosaurus charges forward and head-butts the Saurophaganax, sending him tumbling down the rocky hillside. However, the allosaur’s thick tail catches the Acro in the chest sending her down the hill along with him. Both are now bloodied and bruised. By the time she recovers she does not notice that the Saurophaganax is standing over the Acrocanthosaur. He suddenly leaps off the rock, landing on the side of the larger Acro. But she does not fall as he hoped, she merely grunts and squats. Suddenly the Acrocanthosaur lurches and bucks trying to throw him off. He holds on for dear life, getting in a scratch or bite when possible on this hellish rodeo. Then the Acrocanthosaurus throws the Saurophaganax off her. He loses his footing and falls to the ground. The Acro charges at the smaller dinosaur and the Allosaurs clash. The larger of the two picks him up in her jaws and slashes his throat with her large hand claws. He dies instantly. The Acrocanthosaurus roars into the stormy night sky as her babies emerge, ready to eat at last.
WINNER: ACROCANTHOSAURUS
Honestly, with a more robust build and better weaponry, this fight was over before it started.
NEXT FIGHT: Spinosaurus vs Tyrannotitian.

One main tip, paragraphs are useful.

I know, I figured people would be confused if Sauro won, and with Acro being just plainly more powerful, I figured it would end badly for Sauro.

Yeah, your adivice was really helpful. Much appreciated!
Oh, and to both of you, I knew paragraphs would probably be useful, I just wasn't sure where to space them, without it becoming more annoying then helpful. But glad you guys enjpyed it!

MemberCompsognathusJan-31-2014 9:16 AMWhat would you guys think of a classics fight? Like allosaurus vs stegosaurus, t. rex vs triceratops, so on so forth?

MemberCompsognathusJan-31-2014 11:39 AMGreat fight, you have a lot of talent.
As for the classic fights, it would surely be enjoyable, but they are the 'classic' fights, which means that you would have to put your own twist to it, or another option would be to do something like T.rex vs Stegosaurus, Spinosaurus vs Triceratops etc.
Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the fight! And of course I'd be doing the classics in my own style. Of course, it would be a classic fight, so no like random dinosaurs, or ninja jumps, or other stuff that wouldn't happen. The best way to describe it is that it will be traditional, but with lots of twists and surprises. Also, yes I will do those fights, but as parts of my current fight series.

MemberCompsognathusFeb-21-2014 2:02 AMThis was an amazing fight, it had detail, good grammar, and I agree with the winner completely. Acro is one of my all-time favorites.
Youre fat, and I'm not sugarcoating it cause you'd probably eat that too.
