After the Fight, and after Thorn had felt better, she decided to go hunting. Muldoon climbed onto her back, and she walked to where they were originally planning on going. When they got there, Muldoon pointed at the one he wanted her to go for.
Thorn circled around, and when the opportunity presented itself, she attacked. She killed the target, a Parasaurolophus, and picked it up. She walked to Muldoon, and he climbed on her back, and they went to the mountain in Thorn's paddock. Muldoon started a fire, Thorn ripped some of the better meat off for Muldoon, and she ate some of the rest of it.
Muldoon put a chunk of meat on a stick and started cooking it. When he finished cooking it, he ate it, and Thorn smelled the meat, obviously interested in it. Muldoon looked at her, "You interested?" Thorn looked at him, confused about what he said, but was still interested in the meat. Muldoon roasted another piece, and threw it to Thorn. She caught it, and while enjoying it, it wasn't enough to feed her. She picked up the rest of the carcass and held it over the fire, trying to cook it. "That's not going to work Princess, you might cook the bottom, but the rest won't." Thorn looked at him confused, and continued what she was doing.
The part that was closest to the fire ignited, and Thorn set it down on the rock. Muldoon looked at her and laughed as she started to eat it, the fire being out by some drool. She enjoyed the meal, part of it not touched, and part of it burnt to a crisp. "You enjoying that? I guess that John was right about you being willing to eat anything. He was right about more than what I believed about you. I guess you were the main attraction for a reason. The world may never know about you, about us. You really are a scientific miracle." Thorn didn't understand what Muldoon had said, but she was fine with listening to him. She was happy knowing that someone cared, but she still missed Terrance.
