Thorn's Life: 65 Million Years Later Chapter 12

After the Fall

Shortly after killing the Velociraptors, Thorn went outside. She saw the InGen helicopter flying away, and wondered if it would ever come back. She thought they might come back for Muldoon, seeing that they were the same species, and knowing she would do the same for an individual that she cared for.

She walked to where she had seen Muldoon, and decided to bring him somewhere a little more convenient for the people to reach him. She picked him up gently in her jaws, and decided the visitor centre would be a good place to leave him. She even picked up his SPAS 12 in her jaws and she set him down when she reached the visitor centre.

She was about to walk away, but she decided to take a nap instead. She fell asleep where she had killed the Velociraptors, and when she woke up, Muldoon was staring at her. She freaked out when she saw him, but recognized him, and was just as surprised as he was that he was still alive.

"Alright princess, did you do this?" Thorn looked at him, confused. "Didn't think you would understand. That's fine though, I don't understand your language either." Thorn looked at him, still confused. "Yes, I am alive, no, you're not crazy." Thorn understood no, but not anything else. She thought maybe yes was the opposite of no, and she had seen people nodding before. She looked at Muldoon, and nodded up and down. Muldoon looked at her, and took his turn to be confused. "Did you kill those two and bring me here?" Thorn looked where Muldoon pointed, at the Velociraptors, and then he pointed at himself, and the floor where he was. She nodded again, and Muldoon looked at her, clearly impressed. "Clever girl, I will say that."

Thorn heard something, and looked where it came from. She heard a banging sound, and walked towards it. Muldoon watched as she walked through a wall, causing half of it to crumble, and then another. The last Velociraptor ran out past Thorn, and ran right past Muldoon. He shot it with his SPAS 12, and Thorn saw it drop. She was amazed by it, having never seen what a gun could do as opposed to what she was used to, biting and slashing.

She picked up the the Velociraptor and set it down in front of Muldoon. "No thanks, I prefer human food." Thorn looked at him and the Velociraptor, confused as to why he rejected food. She ate it, and then looked at Muldoon again. He pointed at the kitchen, and she walked over there. "No, no, I want over there. Come here." Thorn understood those commands, and walked back to Muldoon. He gestured to lower her head, and she did. Muldoon climbed on her head and said, "Alright, down." Thorn lowered her head to the ground, and Muldoon climbed off and went to the kitchen, while Thorn ate the bodies of the other two Velociraptors.
