After walking a short distance, Thorn heard yelling, so she went to check it out. When she got there, she saw a Jeep was driving away. She didn't know what it was, so she chased after it, hoping it was food. She almost caught up to it when it went under a fallen tree, and she went through it. When she did catch up to it, she slammed her head into the side, and then it sped up and she gave up.
Thorn walked away, and after walking through the fence of another paddock, she realized that she could go anywhere she wanted in the park. She looked around because she wasn't hungry, and she saw a herd of Gallimimus was asleep. She figured she could pick one or two off later when she was hungry, and she went to sleep in a small clearing. When she woke up, it was light out, and she decided to go hunting. She looked over the tree line and saw the Gallimimus herd was heading her way. She got into position and the ran out, tripping one before she killed it and ate it. She hadn't noticed Grant and the kids were watching, but she left when she was done.
A couple hours later, she had explored most of the island, and all that was left that she hadn't seen was the visitor centre and the area around it. A sudden scream got her attention, and she walked towards it. What really got her attention was when it stopped, and she picked up the pace. When she got to where it came from, a Velociraptor ran away, and she looked down to see Muldoon was dead. His face was torn and there was blood everywhere.
Thorn, not happy about her best friend being killed, walked to where she last saw the Velociraptors going, and saw the visitor centre. She heard a Velociraptor call, and she ran through a wall and caught one Velociraptor mid jump, killed it, and was about to eat it. The big Velociraptor attacked her, and while not doing much damage, it was really bugging her. She shook from side to side trying to get the Velociraptor to fall off, and it flipped to her other side where she grabbed it by the tail, pulled, let go and grabbed it by the body, and threw it into a skeleton and Thorn roared.
Meanwhile, the surviving people were leaving the island, and Hammond was looking at the ornament on his cane, wondering if he should try to clone the dinosaur inside if he tries to have a park again.
