Thorn looked around the paddock after having the pizza slice. She had seen that there was lots of space, and now she wanted to see all of it, having vague memories of growing up with Terrance and always sleeping in caves.
She went to the mountain, figuring that there would be a cavern of some sort out there. She went up one side of the mountain and didn't find anything, so she tried the other side, and walked into another section of fence. She looked from where she stood, and she could see the entire fence. She saw that the fence was to keep her in, so she figured it was her permanent territory. She liked the size of it, and from where she stood, she could see Hammond and Muldoon were just finishing lunch, about to go to the Baryonyx paddock.
A growl got her attention, and about one hundred yards away, was another fence, and a strange carnivore was looking at her. It was about the same size as her, not being full grown, a little younger than Thorn, and it had large arms, long, slender jaws, and a large thumb claw. She didn't know what it was, but she ignored it because she knew everything in the fence was her domain, and the Baryonyx probably had a large territory too.
She walked away, and came across a river that ran through the heart of the paddock, and went into a series of underground pipes to other enclosures. She had a quick drink, and then went to find a suitable sleeping area. She came across a spot where there was a section of rock hanging over a small area of grass. She lied down, and enjoyed the shelter offered by the rock, along with the comfort of the grass. She fell asleep a short time later.

MemberCompsognathusJan-20-2014 7:36 AMI wonder what role that Baryonyx is going to play.
Keep in mind that many people have died for their beliefs; it's actually quite common. The real courage is in living and suffering for what you believe in. -Brom-

MemberCompsognathusJan-20-2014 12:11 PMI agree with UCMP 118742, what is going to be the role the Baryonyx. Still a great chapter.

MemberCompsognathusJan-20-2014 12:42 PMI like that you included Baryonyx since it's been assumed that iNGEN had bred Baryonyx.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJan-20-2014 2:55 PMThanks. There isn't any real involvement with Baryonyx, but there is a Spinosaurus incident tomorrow I think, and then the event of the 1993 park.
