First Hate

Thorn is about six feet tall now. She still wanders the building freely, going from one room to the next as she pleases. "So John, when do you want this park to be ready?" I'm hoping it'll be ready for 1993 Robert. Why do you ask?" "I'm just wondering. That gives us twenty years still, I think we can pull it off." "I know we can pull it off. Hopefully by the grand opening, Rexy over there will be full grown." "She should be, she's ten now, she'll be thirty when the park opens, that's plenty of time." "I thought the same thing, but I needed someone to have the same thoughts as me."

Thorn is looking around for something new, and she eventually comes across a storage area, and she hears something that's alive.

"John, tell me about the Velociraptors." "We cloned them five years ago as you know, and they are full grown, about the size of Rexy." "Who do you think would win a fight between a Velociraptor and Rexy? Just out of curiosity."

Thorn sees one of the other dinosaurs, a Velociraptor, and it manages to break out of it's holding pen.

"I don't know Robert, but I fear we may find out in a few minutes." "What makes you say that?" "Don't you hear that? That's not Rexy's footsteps." "Oh crap. Where's my shotgun?" "Over here, you think two rounds is enough?" "This double barrel shotgun is all I need for anything really, so yes." "If you say so."

After a bit of a struggle, Thorn managed to kill the Velociraptor, but not without some injuries.

"Looks like Rexy won, but she is hurt." "I get the feeling that if she was interested in the Velociraptors before, she doesn't like them now." "I wonder how it got out. What do you think Robert?" "Not sure, you don't think Rexy let it out, do you?" "If she did, I doubt she'd do it again." "Me too, let's do something with the body now." "Rexy's not done with it, look." "I guess she's hungry, so we can wait." "I guess. This is going to be one heck of a mess to clean up."

Sorry if the size at different ages is inconsistent, let's say it was a side effect of the cloning.
