MemberCompsognathusJan-14-2014 8:41 PMSo I used Auto CAD(Computer Aided Drafting) to create this size comparison of some giant theropods...
Blue- Spinosaurus(Drawn at 52 feet long)
Green- Giganotosaurus(Drawn at 50 feet long)
Red- Tyrannosaurus(Drawn at 48 feet long)
Grey- Torvosaurus(Drawn at 37 feet long)
I'm sorry for the poor quality. I was gonna scan it on to my computer, but it was acting up. So I took a picture of it with my iPOD and posted it on Deviant Art. I'll scan it as soon as possible for better quality. Until then, hope you guys like it.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJan-14-2014 8:47 PMThat looks pretty accurate for length sand height.

MemberCompsognathusJan-14-2014 8:52 PMThanks. Originally I was gonna have just Spino, Giga, and Rex, but I had some extra time so I threw in Torvosaurus too to get a little Jurassic action.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJan-14-2014 8:54 PMThats fine. It's still good.

MemberCompsognathusJan-14-2014 8:55 PMThanks. I can't wait to scan it so it's clearer than this. Oh well, this'll do for now.

MemberCompsognathusJan-14-2014 10:18 PMSpiny seems a little undersized... I would add some 5 feet.

MemberCompsognathusJan-14-2014 10:27 PMactually, it's based on the lower estimates on spino i believe.

Okay... I always find the medium estimates to be more reliable though. but hey, that's just me XD

MemberCompsognathusJan-15-2014 7:41 PMSeriously, what is the point in doing this over and over again? We certainly already know your opinion on this, so whats the point?
Lord Vader
MemberTyrannosaurus RexJan-15-2014 7:43 PMIt's simple: He had some spare time and made a comparison, nothing more, nothing less.

MemberCompsognathusJan-15-2014 8:02 PMStill i would come up with a different topic, like making another one of his fights or something of the sort, not basically doing the same thing over and over again. Just a waste of time if you ask me because if youve already done it once and also said what you think in other discussions, i see no point in doing it.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJan-15-2014 8:05 PMI know what you mean. It is fairly accurate (using minimum Spino size and his maximum Rex size, which I see as a reasonable average for Spino, but Rex peeking at 45). The Giga and Torvo sizes are pretty good too.
Just out of curiosity, have you seen my one fight (The Ultimate Battle of Jaws vs Claws)? It has Rex, Spino, Giga, and Carchar in it, and an unexpected ending.

MemberCompsognathusJan-16-2014 3:03 PMThanks DinoSteve.
There's always a critic. Fact Dude, MrHappy is right. I simply had some extra time and decided to make it for fun. I wanted to be nice and share it with everyone and I wasn't trying to make a point about anything. All for fun. No debate what so ever. No need to get so worked up over it.

MemberCompsognathusJan-16-2014 8:23 PMspino fan? good stuff, i don't really many accurate size comparisons or ones made off of theories like yours...good stuff.

MemberCompsognathusJan-16-2014 8:50 PMThanks PFG.
And Sinornithosaurus, you said the Spino might be a bit small. With estimates varying between 40 and 60 feet, 52 ft is just over the halfway point closer to the higher end. I usually say 56 ft long, but this one turned out to be 52 ft.
