MemberCompsognathusJan-12-2014 2:05 PMI'm not talking about the chaos effect. There are many of them in movies and games and i show some for you:
This is Carnotaurus (Dinosaur, 2000), but we know he is completely different from Carnotaurus from this film, this is much bigger and stronger.
Vastatosaurus Rex (King Kong, 2005), the evolution of T-Rex, it sure is stronger than T-Rex, he took punches of Kong.
Venatosaurus (King Kong, 2005), It is greater than the velociraptors (Jurassic Park), but do not know if it is better than the raptors of the film.
This is Acceraptor (Terra Nova, 2011), it is with certainty more dangerous than the Venatosaurus, and has thorns tip in tail.
I prefer the Vastatosaurus Rex, king of the devastating lizards. Put on others you know or say what you like best.

MemberTriceratopsJan-12-2014 2:47 PMQuick question: how big do any of you think the Carnotaurus from Dinosaur is when compared to large theropds? T.rex sized? Giganotosaurus sized? Spinosaurus sized?

MemberCompsognathusJan-12-2014 2:59 PMQuick answer.
And those are indeed a bunch of cool fictitious dinosaurs.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJan-12-2014 3:06 PMThis is more technical stuff, but King Kong is 10 times the sise of a man (that would be 60 feet tall and 2000 pounds if you use an average 6 foot tall 200 pound man as reference), so in theory, he shouldn't have been able to defeat the V-Rex that easily (especially since there were 3). That said, all those were cool.

MemberCompsognathusJan-12-2014 3:10 PMMrHappy, King Kong had one great, technical advantage over the three V-rexes: being the Star of the movie.

MemberCompsognathusJan-12-2014 3:55 PMAll good points, and yes Carnotaurus was about T-rex sized. T-rex was supposed to be the main villain of Dinosaur, but then Carnotaurus was discovered during the creation of Dinosaur and Disney decided to use Carnotaurus for something different. But they kept the size of T-rex since Carnotaurus is a touch on the small side.
PS- I like V-Rex the best.

MemberCompsognathusJan-12-2014 4:01 PMYep. It's the closer version to T-rex on this list. ;)

MemberTriceratopsJan-12-2014 4:20 PMRex Fan, I did read about that, and that instead of an Iguanodon, a Styracosaurus was supposed to be the main protagonist. As well, the plot was supposed to be much darker and more violent, with it's conclusion incorporating the extinction of all the dinosaurs.

MemberCompsognathusJan-12-2014 4:59 PMI found size comparison of them, I forgot to put:
Moreover, for those who do not know, Vastatosaurus is slightly smarter than T-Rex.
Seeing this comparison, I imagine a fight of Carnotaurus from Disney and Vastatosaurus.

MemberTriceratopsJan-12-2014 5:02 PMOk, so the Dinosaur version of Carnotaurus was the size of a very old T.rex or Giganotosaurus.
But a fight between it and a V.rex would be crazy!

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJan-12-2014 5:26 PMKeep in mind that the Rex and Spino from JP3 weren't full grown

MemberCompsognathusJan-12-2014 8:01 PMEven though she's a Tyrannosaurus(a real dinosaur) I couldn't resesist adding Mama Scarface from Turok...
Guess the Carnotaurus from Dinosaur was technically a real dinosaur too, haha

MemberCompsognathusJan-12-2014 10:59 PMI have one I would like to share: Ignosaurus from Fossil Fighters!(BTW, love that game)
Ignosaurus, the Flame Tyrant
From what I know, he's 49 feet long. But that's about it. The game never stated his height or weight..
