Arcovenator

8 m long

2 tons

3.2 m tall

Arcovenator was recently discovered in the dense jungles of isla nublar. Like other abelisaurs, it's very oppurtunistic and occasionally cannibalistic. Although these amazing creatures are poorly known, they have been observed looking straight into the sky, presumably for a pterosaur dinner. Arcovenator are black with a red body, and have a small yellow dewlap.

Lythronax

Lythronax

2.5 tons

3.5 m tall

Usually a mild mannered animal, until it gets hungry. That's where it's name ' king of gore' comes into play. Even the largest spinosaurs are careful around these mid sized tyrannosaurs. Lythronax hunt in family groups, but the males are kicked out by the parents as soon as they get to be sub adults. They are typically black with white splotches over the body. young are covered in a downy  fluff while adults have feathers down their back.

FIGHT!

A sub adult male lythronax is on the hunt. He was recently chased out of his family pack by his father, and now faces a big new world. as he comes into a clearing, it begins to rain. He heads for cover in a grove of trees, when suddenly he hears a high pitched shriek. This gets his attention and he moves towards the direction of the sound.

The rain is starting to really come down now, and just as he gets into the grove of trees, he's hit like a freight train by something red. The sub adult falls to the ground and looks up, to see a female arcovenator going for his throat. He kicks out and hits the abelisaur in the chest, sending her flying. The lythronax gets up and assesses his opponent. He's slightly bigger, but she's faster then he. Before he has time to attack, The abelisaur rams into him. The tyrannosaur is confused, he's never been in a fight before, only with his siblings but never like this. He chirps out to his attacker, who in return stomps and roars sending the message: i'm going to kill you. The tyrannosaur walks in a circle around the abelisaur, contemplating what to do. the Abelisaur runs at him, jaws wide open and catches the side of the neck of the lythronax. He easily throws her aside, but not before receiving a deep gash to the neck. Seeing that the abelisaur had fallen and was struggeling to get up, he walks over to her. he bites down on the abelisaurs side and tears away a chunk of flesh. He steps back and swallows it, thinking the arcovenator is dead.

He turns to leave, when he feels a terrible pain in his tail. The arcovenator had bitten into it, and was trying to tear it off. The tyrannosaur shrieked, and swung his body hoping to get his attacker on the ground again. A downpour has started as the giants clash, neither one backing down. The arcovenator lets go, repositioning for a better bite, but is thrown to the ground by the tyrannosaur. As the abelisaur tries to get to her feet, the feathered foot of the Lythronax comes into view. She looks up and roars at the looming king of gore. She attempts to stand, but everything goes black and she slumps to the ground. The tyrannosaur had stomped her head, killing her instantly.

Winner...Lythronax!

The vestigial arms of the arcovenator were ultimately it's down fall, combined with the slippery terrain it stood little chance.

What'd you guys think? :)

Good fight. Rooting for Lythronax as well.

Your fights are pretty good overall. The only thing I can think of is making them a little longer. But you write pretty good fights already.

Nice. I was rooting for Lythronax.

PFG, your fights are already great. Making them a bit longer would help though. ;)
