MemberCompsognathusJan-05-2014 2:21 PMLEt's meet our competitors!
Sinraptor
7.5 m long
1 ton
3 m tall
Despite it's name, Sinraptor is not an actual ' raptor'. They are large allosaurs that are well adapted to mountainous areas but do better in open plains. Unlike other allosaurs, Sinraptor is a solitary hunter, and do not tolerate others of it's species...except when its mating season. Sinraptor in identifiable by it's dark brown coloration and large blue spots down it's side.
Eocarcharia
8 m long
1 ton
3.2 m tall
Like it's larger relative, Eocarcharia is a voracious hunter. They form impromptu packs to take down prey as much as 10x larger then themselves. For the most part however, they are solitary and highly aggresive...especially the mothers when they have eggs. The young stay with their mother for up to two years before striking out on their own. Eocarcharia has a dark brown body with two red crests above the eyes.
FIGHT!
The sun is starting to set on Isla Nublar, and a female sinraptor decides to patrol her territory. She has held this particular stretch of flood plain for over a decade, but not without the occasional challenger. Because of this she is a veteran fighter, and wears many scars. She walks with a faint limp, due to a headbutt from a ekrixinosaurus a few years back,But this doesn't hinder her much. She enters a small grove of trees and sees a large dark shape on the ground, but decides it's nothing and moves on. What she doesn't realize is she inadvertently ventured into the territory of the eocarcharia, which was the dark shape she passed by. Fortunetly for her, the dawn shark was sleeping and didn't notice.
Soon after, the Eocarcharia wakes and smells the scent of another large predator. Curious, she decides to try to find the source of the smell. After a few minutes, the Eocarcharia sees the sinraptor and immidiately decides to kill it. She rushes foward and bites the allosaur on the back, the backs off. Alarmed, the sinraptor turns to face her attacker. She sizes the carcharodontosaur up, and paws at the ground ready for this new challenge. The sinraptor gives a low growl and starts towards her opponent. The eocarcharia rushes in and bites at the throat of the Sinraptor. She gets a good grip, but the allosaur claws at her face and the eocarcharia lets go. She was too slow to get out of reach, and the Sinraptor bites down on her neck. She jerks away, but the teeth of the allosaur lay imbedded in her neck vertebrate. Shes shakes her head and roars, attempting to scare the allosaur. This didn't faze the Allosaur, and she went for the eocarcharia's throat. The carcharodontosaur dodges out of the way like a matador, and they both stop to face each other again.
This being the Eocarcharia's home turf, she decides to use the terrain to her advantage. she mock charges and side steps from the allosaur. The sinraptor rushes forward..straight into a nearby tree. Seizing the moment, the Eocarcharia jumps on the side of the allosaur and using her momentum, forces the sinraptor to the ground. She pins the Sinraptor with her right foot, and bites her neck. The sinraptor roars in pain and attempts to get to her feet, but the weight of the Carcharodontosaur is too great. The eocarcharia uses her fifteen hundred pound bite force and crushes the neck of the Sinraptor, and lifts her bloody snout in a victorious roar.
Winner....Eocarcharia!
This was a close one, but the Eocarcharia was in her territory and knowing her surroundings gave her the advantage.
Since i was late with the first fight, i'm open to suggestions to a bonus fight. Any two Theropods...the one with the most votes is the one i will write!

MemberTyrannosaurus RexJan-05-2014 3:14 PMGood fight, I was rooting for Sinraptor though. Oh well.
Fir the bonus fight, I'm not sure. I've got one in mind, but I'll likely use it at some point in DD9097MS. I'll say Acrocanthosaurus vs Tarbosaurus. My money's on Tarbo for that fight.

Hmm, Siats vs Zhuchengtyrannus
Or Lythronax vs Arcovenator
I'm taking the tyrannosaur in either battle.

MemberCompsognathusJan-05-2014 3:24 PMi originally wrote it out for the sinraptor to win, but as i re-wrote it....the cards just weren't in the allosaurs favor. Arcovenator is the new abelisaur found in france right?

MemberCompsognathusJan-05-2014 3:26 PMYes. It was about 7-8 meters long and 1-2 tons. Same size range as Lythronax.

MemberCompsognathusJan-05-2014 3:28 PMGreat fight, althought I was rooting too for Sinraptor. A well written fight still.
And RexFan's Lythronax vs. Arcovenator sounds good. My votes for this one.
