Abelisaurus lives primarily on Isla nublar, while a small group lives on Sorna. They are known to be cannibalistic and will attack anything from mammals to therizinosaurs. They have a distinct bright orange head with a gray body, whether this is a display or just normal coloration is unknown.

Althoughh often overshadowed by it's larger cousins, Gorgosaurus is still an impressive animal. A fast, mid-sized tyrannosaur that has an unusual killing method. It bites the neck, holds the prey animal in place, and kicks at the body, snapping the neck. They usually hunt hadrosaurs but have been obseved stalking ornithomimids. Gorgosaurs' typical coloration is dark red with vertical gray crossbars

[FIGHT!
An old bull Abelisaurus is stalking an injured edmontosaur. He first spotted the hadrosaur at a dried river bed, where it had fallen over a dried log and snapped it's ankle. Sensing an easy meal, he began to follow. Six hours had since passed, and the Abelisaur had started to make his move when the hadrosaur collapsed. Puzzeled but quite satisfied, he walked over to the fallen animal. He kicked at it, as to see if it was still alive. Clinging on to life, the edmontosaur bellowed at the predator...only to be cut off with a decisive bite to the neck. The old bull setteled down to eat when a loud roar made him stop dead. He looked toward the tree line, and saw a huge female Gorgosaurus running straight for him. The abelisaurus stepped up onto his kill, roaring out a challenge.
The tyrannosaur slammed into him at top speed, sending him flying. The gorgosaurus took full advantage and bit down on the back of the neck of the fallen abelisaur. The old bull knew if he didn't do something soon, he would be as good as dead. Mustering his strength, he got to his feet and shoved off, releasing the grip on his neck. The tyrannosaur stumbled back, and the abelisaurus rammed into her. This gave him a moment to assess his opponent. she was larger then he was, but less agile around turns. He ran at the tyrannosaur again, and bit down on her arm. The Gorgosaurus roared in pain, and slammed her head down on his, dazing him. She took advange, and bit down on his neck. The abelisaurus tried to break free, but the tyrannosaurs teeth only sunk into his neck. Wanting to end this, the Gorgosaurus kicked at the side of the Abelisaur, sending his body toppeling over and snapping his neck. The tyrannosaur threw her dead opponent to the ground and began to feed.
Winner....Gorgosaurus!
faster, stronger, efficient killing technique, and being more advanced then the Abelisaur ultimately won the fight for the tyrannosaur
