An Irritator is out fishing. He finished the Aucasaurus he killed, and he's back to fishing. He's successful at fishing, and he left the water to have a nap when he was finished.

A Utahraptor is out hunting. He's wandered the entire island in search of a suitable meal, and eventually found the Irritator. He sees it will be a difficult fight, but his hunger drives him to attack.

He charges the Irritator, and was slashing its side by the time it realized what was happening. The Irritator shook the Utahraptor off and looked at him. They stared at each other for a minute, both deciding what to do. The Utahraptor decided to wait until the Irritator attacked, and the Irritator charged. The Utahraptor sidestepped and jumped on the Irritator's side and started slashing again.

The Irritator ran into the water for protection, and the Utahraptor jumped off, not liking water much. They stared at each other for several minutes, and the Utahraptor was growing impatient. He looked at the Irritator, deciding wether or not he should try to jump onto its back. He ran, but stopped before jumping because he saw a Deinosuchus in the river.

The Irritator saw the Utahraptor had stopped, and quickly realized that he was the least of his worries. He ran to the river edge, and the Deinosuchus lunged. Both Utahraptor and Irritator ran for the trees, and the Deinosuchus went back into the river.

The Irritator lost sight of the Utahraptor, and he heard some rustling in a large tree that was above. He didn't think much of it, and continued scouring the ground for the Utahraptor, thinking it was too big for a tree branch. The Utahraptor suddenly jumped out of the tree, and the Irritator slashed him in mid air, leaving deep wounds in his side and causing him to land on his back.

The thud got Rexy's attention. She had been nearby, and when she saw the Irritator above the Utahraptor about to rip him open, she left, thinking he was going to be killed shortly.

The Utahraptor kicked the Irritator in the gut, cutting his side open, and making him back off. The Utahraptor attacked the Irritator, slashing his face and neck, causing more bleeding. The Irritator was nearly defenceless against the Utahraptor's attacks. He bled out quickly, and the Utahraptor ate. Had Rexy seen it, she would have killed him because he had attacked her before.

Winner......... Utahraptor

More agile and more fit for combat made up for being smaller in this fight.
