Death Duels 9097 Small Sector Round 1 Fight 3: Achillobator vs Gasosaurus
Achillobatar
Achillobatar was a large Dromeasaur from Mid Cretaceous Mongolia. At fifteen feet and seven hundred pounds, it would be a formidable opponent for anything it met. It had many Dromeasaur characteristics, and it likely had to survive the Mongolian desert, a challenging feat for any creature.
Gasosaurus
Gasosaurus was an allosaur from the Mid to Late Jurassic. It was about sixteen feet long and one thousand pounds in weight. It likely used its claws, along with around a four hundred PSI bite force.
Begin!
A lone Achillobatar is on the hunt. He grew up on his own, so he is a veteran in one vs one and even one vs two combat. He has scars all over his body, and is missing feathers in some places because of it. He is not aware that he himself is being hunted.
A large Gasosaurus was stalking him, waiting for him to get close enough for an attack. Without any warning, the Gasosaurus charged, making little sound as he bit the Achillobatar in the back of the head. It wasn't a good attack though, and the Achillobatar pulled put and faced his attacker. He roared a challenge to the Gasosaurus, and the Gasosaurus gladly responded, being larger than his opponent.
The Achillobatar ran and slashed the Gasosaurus's face, and he went to bite the Achillobatar. The Achillobatar got out of the way, and attempted the attack again. The Gasosaurus ducked, and the bit the Achillobatar's arm, smashing bone and rendering the arm useless. The Achillobatar roared in pain, and then kicked out with his toe claw, hitting just under the Gasosaurus's eye. The Gasosaurus roared in pain, and the Achillobatar slashed his face with his good arm, causing some more damage.
They both stepped back, and they walked in circles, not breaking eye contact the whole time. When the Gasosaurus blinked, the Achillobatar charged. He slashed the Gasosaurus's side, exposing rib and causing heavy bleeding. The Gasosaurus roared in pain and bit the Achillobatar in the back, nearly breaking it with the force.
Both dinosaurs collapsed in pain, and the Achillobatar got up first. He looked at the Gasosaurus, who was hurt more than he appeared, and attacked as it attempted to stand up. The Achillobatar overestimated the Gasosaurus's speed, and jumped over it, hitting a tree instead of the Gasoasurus. The Gasosaurus attacked again, but his ribs hurt too much, and it was quickly a slow walk. The Achillobatar attacked again, this time permanently downing the Gasosaurus.
He slashed its throat and ate, not having time to waste before going to sleep to regain some energy.
Winner..... Achillobatar
More experienced, smarter, having the classic Dromeasaur skill set gave the Achillobatar an edge where size failed.

MemberCompsognathusDec-15-2013 9:33 AMNice. I expected Achilobator to win, but it was a good fight. Gasosaurus has such an unfortunate name, haha. That said, I wouldn't mess with one.

MemberTyrannosaurus RexDec-15-2013 6:34 PMOf course you are. You won't be disappointed, even if it does lose (not saying Irritator wins, just saying its a good fight). Nice pictures too.
